ABC has made decisions on the fate of its two projects still awaiting word about their future. ABC has canceled The Rookie: Feds after one season. The Rookie spinoff starred Niecy Nash-Betts as a guidance counselor who decides to join the FBI, becoming one of the oldest rookies in the agency. The network is also not going forward with its The Good Doctor spinoff backdoor pilot The Good Lawyer. The pilot starred Kennedy McMann and Felicity Huffman.

CBS has announced a new Big Brother series is coming. Big Brother Reindeer Games will premiere December 11. The two week competition series will see Big Brother legends return to compete in six holiday themed episodes. The spinoff will not feature contestants living in a house together, live feeds or live shows. 

Starz has ordered Spartacus: House of Ashur. The new series will expand on the world of Spartacus which previously ran for four seasons. Nick Tarabay returns as the villainous Ashur, the iconic role he originated in the series’ original run. It is a history-bending, erotic, thrilling, roller-coaster experience that builds on everything that made the original series a colossal hit. The series poses the question: what if Ashur hadn’t died on Mount Vesuvius at the end of Spartacus: Vengeance? And what if he had been gifted the gladiator school once owned by Batiatus in return for aiding the Romans in killing Spartacus and putting an end to the slave rebellion? 

Limited series Masters of the Air premieres on Apple TV+ January 26 with the first two episodes. Based on Donald L. Miller’s book of the same name, the series follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air. Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of “Masters of the Air.” Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all. 

Matt Rife: Natural Selection premieres November 15 on Netflix. After having amassed a large social following through his viral content showcasing his quick wit and crowd work, Matt embarked on a sold-out world tour. Now in his first Netflix comedy special, Matt leaves no topic untouched – from crystals to social media trolls – and no audience member spared. 

FX’s A Murder at the End of the World premieres November 14 on hulu. The mystery series features a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker Darby Hart and eight other guests who are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use her skills to prove it was murder before the killer takes another life.

Season two of Carl Weber’s The Black Hamptons premieres on BET+ December 7. The Brittons and the Johnsons are back and the feuds are bigger than ever as they realize that the confusion amongst themselves is just the tip of the iceberg. A new threat looms over the Black Hamptons that could destroy everything they have built. 

Season two of Hush premieres December 7 on ALLBLK. The series follows the story of top marriage and sex therapist, TV personality and best-selling author, Dr. Draya Logan who finds herself entangled in a web of lies, sex and murder that could cost her everything. This season, Dr. Logan is determined to clear her name and reclaim her fame. She must utilize her pawns to not only to help free her but cover up more than what they promised at whatever costs before the secrets of the penthouse are exposed. 

Death and Other Details (FKA Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem) premieres January 6 on hulu with the first two episodes. Set amidst the glamor of the global elite, the ten episode series centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott, who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (okay, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery. The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises – Rufus Cotesworth, the world’s greatest detective. 

JB Smoove will join Cedric the Entertainer on a new holiday episode of The Greatest @Home Videos on CBS November 24. The episode showcases a sweet assortment of videos featuring awesome holiday cheer, unbelievable creativity and a “sled” full of hilarious moments uncovered by a team of video-seeking “Elves.”

Manish Dayal has been cast in the upcoming second season of AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Dayal will recur in the season titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol. 

A special episode of Raid the Cage will air November 21 on CBS. The new episode will air between new episodes of NCIS: Sydney at 8 and FBI: True at 10. 

Netflix has announced the cast for the upcoming series Karma. Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-a, Lee Hee-jun, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo, and Gong Seung-yeon will star in the series. Based on the webtoon of the same name, disparate lives intertwine under the ominous shadow of an unbreakable fate. The story revolves around a witness to an accident, a physician traumatized by nightmares, a man whose world was upended by an unexpected event, and another man drowning in private loans. Each one is bound by the inescapable ties of a terrible destiny, weaving a gripping crime thriller following those trapped by ill-fated entanglements.

The Case Against Bryan Kohberger premieres November 12 on Court TV. The special explores the mounting evidence against the former PhD student accused of the grisly crime, including DNA, video surveillance and cell phone data. The one-hour special will explore the strength of the case and provide audiences with a full picture of what authorities believed happened, as local prosecutors are set to soon go to trial. HairStyle, The Talent Show premieres November 17 on discovery+. The new hairdressing talent show will be hosted by Maestro Rossano Ferretti and stylists Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee. Ten professional hairdressers from the United States will need to showcase their talent, skills, and creativity in front of Maestro Rossano Ferretti, who will host the talent show broadcast globally in five different versions in Spain, Italy, Mexico, Brazil and the United States. In each of the editions, Rossano Ferretti will evaluate the contestants’ work, accompanied by a co-host from each of the countries. They won’t be alone; well-known celebrities will visit the salon to share insights about their hair and lifestyle routines. 

The National Women’s Soccer League has announced new, multiyear rights deals with Prime Video, CBS Sports and ESPN beginning with 2024. Prime Video will be the exclusive home for 27 total matches each season, including 25 regular-season games as part of a “Game of the Week” on Friday nights throughout the season. CBS Sports air up to 12 matches per season on CBS and Paramount+, including multiple postseason matches and highlighted by the Championship match. ESPN will present live coverage of 20 games – 17 regular-season matches and three playoff matches – each season.

Roku and UFC have teamed up for a behind the scenes docuseries titled Fight Inc: Inside the UFC. The three episode series will celebrate three decades of UFC and give viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at pivotal moments UFC during the organization’s 30th anniversary year. It will provide fans with unprecedented access to UFC CEO Dana White and his team as they peel back the curtain for a look at the daily grind and endless problem-solving in the fight business, including rebuilding fight cards on the fly for major events.

The Netflix Cup, the streamers first-ever live sports event taking place at Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, will see Lando Norris & Rickie Fowler take on Carlos Sainz & Justin Thomas. Then, Alex Albon & Max Homa will compete against Pierre Gasly & Collin Morikawa. They will play eight holes of match play, swinging through some surprise challenges, after which the top team from each foursome will compete in a playoff hole to crown a winner. The Netflix Cup will stream live on Netflix beginning at 3p.m. PT / 6p.m. ET on November 14.

Docuseries We Live Here: The Midwest premieres December 6 on hulu. The documentary explores timely, personal stories of LGBTQIA+ families who strive to build lives in their communities despite biased legislation and mounting prejudice. 

Analog Squad premieres December 7 on Netflix. In 1990, four strangers come up with a plan to pose as a family to help heal a rift that has torn a real family apart. Somehow, they inevitably create chaos and mayhem that is beyond entertaining. 

The Pike County Murders: A Family Massacre premieres November 24 on Oxygen. How did it come to pass that eight members of the same family could be brutally murdered execution-style in four different locations in one night by members of another family they called friends? One of largest murder investigations in Ohio’s history rips off the veneer of small-town America, exposing an underbelly of violence, pitting family against family, mother against son, and brother against brother in a haunting story of lies, secrets, and betrayal. The three episode docuseries features first-hand accounts from family members, friends, law enforcement and experts who are all still deeply affected by the murders and are speaking out to continue their quest for justice. 

Kitchen Commando will air a Veterans Day special November 11 on Tubi. Chef Rush returns, this time taking on the mission to save a veteran owned restaurant in need.

Season two of Dew Drop Diaries premieres December 4 on Netflix. From finding lost items to cleaning up messes, three fairies in training love looking after kids in their care as they work toward earning their wings.
