Onyx Collective’s UnPrisoned has been renewed for a second season at hulu. Starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo, and inspired by creator Tracy McMillan’s life, the series follows a messy but perfectionist relationship therapist, social media influencer and single mom, Paige Alexander, whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad, Edwin Alexander, gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son. 

Blue Bloods will be ending with its upcoming fourteenth season. The final season will be split up into two parts, with the first ten episodes premiering February 16 on CBS. The final eight episodes will launch in fall 2024. Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray star.

Eight episode docuseries BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star premieres December 20 on Disney+ with two episodes weekly. Featuring never-before-seen interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes moments with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, BTS the series will take audiences on an in-depth journey across the band’s 10-year career, highlighting their highs and lows for the first time ever in a captivating docuseries format. It will look back on the band’s key moments over the years, showing how the band came to be, what it was like preparing for their debut, what it was like winning best new artist at the 2013 Melon music awards, highlighting their struggles during the “Danger” period, discussing their first concerts, their debut at the American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards, what it was like becoming stars in America, speaking at the UN, performing at the Rose Bowl Stadium, the excitement of performing at London’s Wembley Stadium and more. It will also shine a spotlight on highly personal moments from their past, including how they felt about meeting each other for the first time; their initial contract renewal process; the difficulties of isolating during COVID; as well as other more lighthearted moments including j-hope’s surprise birthday party and Jung Kook’s high school graduation ceremony. 

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will premiere on AMC February 25. The series presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead? 

Thriller series The Woman in the Wall premieres January 21 on Showtimes. The series centers on Lorna Brady, a woman from the small, fictional Irish town of Kilkinure, who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house. Chillingly, Lorna has no idea who the dead woman is or if she, herself, might be responsible for the apparent murder. That’s because Lorna has long suffered from extreme bouts of sleepwalking ever since she was ripped from her life at the age of 15 and incarcerated in The Kilkinure Convent, a (fictional) home to one of Ireland’s infamous Magdalene Laundries for women. There, Lorna gave birth to her daughter Agnes, who cruelly was taken from her and whose fate Lorna never has known. Detective Colman Akande is now also on Lorna’s tail for a crime seemingly unrelated to the body she has discovered in her house. His scathing wit hides a quiet sadness, and when he meets Lorna, he finds himself forced to confront his own haunting secrets. As Colman searches for a murderer and Lorna searches for her daughter, their paths collide in ways they never could have anticipated.

The English dub of anime series Dark Gathering premieres December 10 on HIDIVE. After a devastating encounter with a restless spirit, ghost-fearing psychic Keitaro Gentoga became a shut-in to avoid additional spectral catastrophes. But no man is a haunted island, and Keitaro eventually reintegrates with society by getting a part-time job as a tutor to the child prodigy Yayoi Houzuki. Yayoi isn’t just an academic genius, though. She’s a talented psychic medium hell-bent on finding the malevolent spirit behind her mother’s disappearance, and she’s gravely determined to drag Keitaro into her terrifying world of grotesque supernatural phenomenon.

Shantel VanSanten will be joining the cast of FBI: Most Wanted for its upcoming fifth season. She will continue to play Special Agent Nina Chase who was originally introduced in the original CBS series FBI. The casting comes following Alexa Davalos leaving the series. 

Hill Harper will not be returning for season seven of The Good Doctor. The original cast member is currently running for the Michigan senate seat. With Harper’s departure, only two original series cast members, Freddie Highmore and Richard Schiff, remain with the show which has seen a lot of cast turnover over the course of its run on ABC. 

A Very Demi Holiday Special premieres December 8 on The Roku Channel. A heartwarming, captivating special featuring music and plenty of out-of-this-world surprises, the special will fill your home and heart with a very Demi twist on the festive spirit. Demi has invited some of her friends to help her celebrate the holidays. Celebrity guests include Paris Hilton, Tiffany Haddish, Trixie Mattel, JoJo, Rich Eisen, and Hailey Bieber. 

The English dub of Ragna Crimson premieres on HIDIVE December 23. Dragons reign terror over the earth, sea and sky. If sworn dragon hunters like Ragna are to have any hope of dealing death to these seemingly invincible, fire-breathing beasts, they must find a way to level the odds. Ragna teams up with a mysterious man named Crimson who has likewise sworn to stand against the dragons menacing the world. But although Crimson’s motivations may be mysterious, his goal and Ragna’s perfectly align, and together they’ll fight to vanquish the dragons once and for all. 

Primetime limited series King Charles hosted by Gayle King and Charles Barkley will premiere on CNN November 29. The talk show sees Gayle King and Charles Barkley engaging each other, their guests and their audience in freewheeling and authentic conversations centered around the week’s most interesting stories, moments and cultural themes.

The first five seasons of Young Sheldon will begin streaming on Netflix November 24. The series was previously only streaming on Max where parent series The Big Bang Theory remains an exclusive. The comedy series will be ending with its upcoming seventh season on CBS. 

Comedy special Ricky Gervais: Armageddon premieres December 25 on Netflix. Ricky Gervais takes the stage for a provocative new stand-up special, riffing on the end of humanity, political correctness, family weddings, funerals and Artificial Intelligence. The special was recorded at the world famous London Palladium earlier this year. 

Wolf Hall will be returning for a final act. Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, based on the final novel in Hilary Mantel’s trilogy, will begin filming shortly and will air on PBS. Mark Rylance will return to his role of Thomas Cromwell, with Damian Lewis returning as King Henry VIII, alongside Jonathan Pryce as Cardinal Wolsey. Also returning are Kate Phillips as Henry VIII’s third wife Jane Seymour and Lilit Lesser as Princess Mary, the daughter of Henry and his first wife Catherine of Aragon. Further returning and new cast members will be announced in due course. May, 1536. Anne Boleyn, Henry’s second wife, is dead. As the axe drops, Thomas Cromwell emerges from the bloodbath to continue his climb to power and wealth, while his formidable master, Henry, settles to short-lived happiness with his third queen, Jane Seymour. Cromwell, a man with only his wits to rely on, has no great family to back him, and no private army. Navigating the moral complexities that accompany the exercise of power in this brutal and bloody time, Cromwell is caught between his desire to do what is right and his instinct to survive. But in the wake of Henry VIII having executed his queen, no one is safe.

Docuseries The World According to Football premieres December 1 on Showtime. Narrated by Trevor Noah, the series focuses on a different country in each episode – Brazil, US, UK, France, and Qatar – and how soccer teams and fans in that country face global issues through the sport. The series tackles women’s rights, income inequality, labor rights, mental health, racism, nationalism and LGBTQ+ rights. 

The third season of true crime docuseries Wild Crime premieres November 30 on hulu. Wild Crime: Blood Mountain follows the case of experienced hiker Meredith Emerson, who, along with her dog, vanished without a trace on Blood Mountain in Georgia. When two murdered hikers in other national forests across the southeast are discovered, it raises the question: Is Emerson just another lost hiker – or is there something more sinister behind her disappearance? It follows the twists and turns of this gripping true-crime tale, including the massive search-and-rescue operation for Emerson and investigations into the two similar cases, leading authorities to believe Emerson may have been the next victim of a serial killer. 

ABC and Dick Clark Productions have renewed their deal for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest through January 1, 2029. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest live from Times Square, the show celebrates the year’s very best in music, featuring a night of superstar performances. Wrapping up the holiday season, far and away, the nation’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration will give viewers a look at New Year’s celebrations from around the globe. Details around co-hosts, performers in Times Square and additional locations for this years festivities will be announced soon. 

Notre Dame and NBC Sports have agreed on a multi-year extension of their historic football partnership, through the 2029 season. The agreement extends the landmark partnership – the longest college media relationship dating to 1991 – to nearly four decades (39 seasons).

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will begin streaming weekly on Netflix January 31.
