Season two of Onyx Collective’s UnPrisoned premieres July 17 on hulu with all eight episodes. The Alexander family is still a mess. Paige’s therapy practice is in trouble, Finn’s anxiety is through the roof, Edwin is still figuring out how to get his life together outside of prison, and their relationships are more complicated than ever. The family needs help, and it’s time to call in a professional – OTHER than Paige. The Alexanders turn to a “family radical healing coach,” who throws out all the rules to free them of the issues, old wounds and family secrets holding them back. 

Peacock has ordered a new comedy from NBC’s The Office adapter Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The Untitled Daniels/Koman mockumentary series is set in the same universe as The Office. Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore will star in the series. The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters. 

Lady in the Lake premieres July 19 on Apple TV+. The limited series is based on the novel by Laura Lippman and stars Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram. When the disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966, the lives of two women converge on a fatal collision course. Maddie Schwartz is a Jewish housewife seeking to shed a secret past and reinvent herself as an investigative journalist, and Cleo Sherwood is a mother navigating the political underbelly of Black Baltimore while struggling to provide for her family. Their disparate lives seem parallel at first, but when Maddie becomes fixated on Cleo’s mystifying death, a chasm opens that puts everyone around them in danger. 

Paramount+ with Showtime has renewed The Chi for a seventh season ahead of the sixth season return May 10. The series is a timely coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption. Production on the new season will begin later this month in Chicago. 

Season two of Perfect Match premieres June 7 on Netflix. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the second batch of episodes will premiere June 14 with the finale airing June 21. 22 new singles from across Netflix’s unscripted series are back in the search for love. They will couple up and test their romantic relationships through compatibility challenges. Winning couples gain power in the game to bring in new singles to match with their castmates – setting up potential love matches or stirring trouble in paradise as they compete to be the strongest couple at the villa, crowned the Perfect Match. The cast includes Alara Taneri, Brittan Byrd, Christine Obanor, Dominique Defoe, Elys Hutchinson, Holly Scarfone, Jessica Vestal, Melinda Melrose, Micah Lussier, Tolú Ekundare, Xanthi Perdikomatis, Bryton Constantin, Chris Hahn, Dom Gabriel, Harry Jowsey, Izzy Zapata, Jake Cunningham, Justin Assad, Kaz Bishop, Nigel Euro, Stevan Ditter, and Trevor Sova.

Maya Rudolph returns to host Saturday Night Live May 11. Vampire Weekend will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Season five of The Kardashians will premiere May 23 on hulu. Just when you think life can’t get any faster in the Kardashian Jenner family, they punch it into overdrive. From the big screen to baby bliss, the family continues to defy expectations in all their endeavors. Cameras roll as Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie navigate contentious sister dynamics, all under the watchful eye of everyone’s favorite matriarch, Kris. 

Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home premieres June 1 on Max. The series follows Trixie and her partner David Silver as they search for and renovate their perfect dreamhouse. The show will bring together the practicality and inventiveness of the “home renovation” genre with the colorful, hilarious and always fabulous world of Trixie Mattel. 

Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn will premiere on Netflix June 4. The special was filmed at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY in November 2023. Jo Koy shares his unfiltered opinions on social media, aging and moving into a new phase of his life; his zaddy phase. 

Gail Bean, Bertram Williams Jr and Thomas Q. Jones have been promoted to series regulars on P-Valley. Mea Wilkerson has also joined the cast as a series regular for the upcoming third season of the Starz series. 

What If… ? – An Immersive Story, the first-ever interactive Disney+ Original story is coming exclusively to Apple Vision Pro. Docuseries Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer will now premiere July 11 on hulu. Originally set to premiere in June 13, the series is a fascinating new perspective on the woman whose crime hunting innovations changed history. To stop serial killers, psychiatric nurse and professor Dr. Ann Burgess must first learn to think like one. With unprecedented access to the mastermind behind the development of modern serial-killer profiling, the series tells Burgess’ tenacious story and her compassion for victims which puts her at the center of solving America’s most infamous true-crime cases. Concert special Gaga Chromatica Ball will premiere May 25 on HBO. In front of a sold-out crowd of 52,000 people, Lady Gaga delivers a career-defining performance at Los Angeles’s Dodger Stadium during her 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour. The special delivers breathtaking live performances of some of Gaga’s biggest and most cherished hits, including “Stupid Love,” “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Shallow,” “Rain On Me,” and more. The film delivers huge show-stopping moments and intimate piano numbers, complete with heart-stopping choreography, intense pyrotechnics and an array of iconic outfit changes as only Gaga does. This is Lady Gaga as you’ve never seen her before. 

All episodes of The Killing Kind premiere May 14 on hulu. The series centers on a barrister, named Ingrid Lewis, who defends John Webster against stalking charges, only for Webster to turn on her. 

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter returns May 30 on MTV. Catelynn Baltierra, Jade Cline, Cheyenne Davis, Briana DeJesus, Ashley Jones, Maci McKinney, Leah Messer and Amber Portwood return for the new season. The moms are stepping into new territory, some of them giving driving lessons to their adolescents and others weighing their desire to have more children. In the midst of it all, they are juggling their relationships, prioritizing time for their significant others and navigating personal discoveries. The new season sees Mackenzie McKee joining the cast with her boyfriend and making big plans for the future. Additionally, Jenelle Evans makes a special appearance amid her divorce and life-changing moves. 

Betty La Fea, The Story Continues premieres July 19 on Prime Video. The dramedy is based on the highly acclaimed telenovela Yo soy Betty, la Fea and will feature the onscreen duo from the original series, Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello, alongside its beloved original cast Julián Arango, Natalia Ramírez, Lorna Cepeda, Luces Velásquez, Marcela Posada, Mario Duarte, Julio Cesar Herrera, Ricardo Vélez, Alberto León Jaramillo, and Estefanía Gómez. While an empowered and wiser Betty works hard on rebuilding her relationship with her teenage daughter Mila, her relationship with Armando begins to deteriorate, making her question if she made the right decision 20 years ago. 

Season four of My Life Is Murder premieres June 17 on Acorn TV and BBC America. Starring Lucy Lawless as the fearless and unapologetic investigator Alexa Crowe, this new season features a slew of puzzling cases ranging from homicidal hairdressers to wicked widows and brutal ballet to deadly soufflés. Eight new mysteries. Eight new worlds. Eight diabolical killers that only Alexa Crowe can catch. But this time, Alexa is bringing her friends and family along for the ride. 

Toughest Forces on Earth premieres May 22 on Netflix. Three adventurous veterans train alongside some of the world’s most elite military units, getting an inside look at their tactics and weaponry.

Disney Jr.’s Ariel premieres June 27 on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. An initial batch of eight episodes available on Disney+ June 28. Set in the Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom of Atlantica, the series follows young mermaid princess Ariel as she embarks on underwater adventures with her family and friends, including King Triton, Ursula, Flounder, and mer-friends Fernie and Lucia. Each episode highlights themes of self-expression, curiosity and resourcefulness and celebrates the multicultural elements of the Caribbean through food, fashion, language and folklore.
