KAOS premieres on Netflix August 29. Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus: King of the Gods, ruler of the world. He’s cruel, stylish and all-powerful. That is, until he’s not. Having long enjoyed his status as king of the gods, Zeus’s reign has never been truly threatened. That is until he wakes up one morning and discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. Believing it to be the harbinger of an ancient prophecy which foretells his destruction, neurosis sets in: Zeus becomes convinced his fall is coming. As his paranoia takes hold, the god of gods – seeing signs everywhere – starts to dangerously self-destruct. And he’s right to be worried. Zeus’s one time friend and now prisoner, Prometheus, is orchestrating a plan to bring him down. The plan involves three disparate humans, all of whom are totally unaware of their cosmic significance or the part they must play in saving the world. No pressure. (Some pressure.) 

Docuseries K-Pop Idols premieres August 30 on Apple TV+. The six episode series offers fans an unprecedented backstage pass to the world’s biggest musical phenomenon, with a behind-the-scenes look at the highly competitive reality of K-pop stardom, featuring beloved artists Jessi, CRAVITY and BLACKSWAN. It follows the superstars through trials and triumphs as they break down cultural and musical barriers in K-pop with passion, creativity and determination while they chase their dreams. 

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance premieres October 17 on Netflix. The series focuses on the European front of the One Year War, which was the setting of the first Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam.

Season five of Ruthless premieres August 8 on BET+. The time has come for the most insane, the most intense, most Ruthless season EVER. 

Love Next Door premieres August 17 on Netflix. A woman attempting to reboot her life returns to Korea and becomes entangled with her childhood friend – with whom she shares a complicated history.

Dermot Mulroney has been cast as Chief Dom Pascal in the upcoming season of Chicago Fire. The new season will premiere September 25 on NBC. Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Joe Miñoso, Christian Stolte, Daniel Kyri, Hanako Greensmith and Jocelyn Hudon also star.  

Daniel Diemer will star as fan-favorite cyclops Tyson in the epic adventure series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Diemer joins Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri as a series regular. The Disney+ series will begin filming its second season next week in Vancouver. Season two is based on the second installment of the book series titled “The Sea of Monsters” by Rick Riordan. In the new season, Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon. 

Netflix has announced the cast for the upcoming new series House of Guinness. Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, James Horton, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara, Jack Gleeson, Dervla Kirwan, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, David Wilmot, and Hilda Fay are set to star. 

USA Network has ordered hidden camera series Scare Tactics. From Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions, it will turn unsuspecting individuals into the main characters of their very own horror movies. This heart-pounding show offers a cinematic approach to the hidden camera concept. Set up by their friends and family, these unwitting participants are put in hilariously twisted scenarios with fully immersive stories that blur the lines of reality, horror and comedy. As they navigate one unreal decision after another, audiences will laugh, jump and be left breathless for more. 

The English dub of Chained Soldier premieres July 29 on HIDIVE. Two supernatural forces appeared simultaneously on Earth: entrances to another dimension known as Mato, and Peaches, resources that give unique abilities to women. From the Mato come Yomotsu Shuuki, dangerous monsters that leave destruction in their wake. The government’s Anti-demon Corps stands against these creatures, employing women empowered by Peaches to face the monstrous threat. Yuuki Wakura watches these forces clash from a distance, but when he unexpectedly runs afoul of a Yomotsu Shuuki, he’s rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corp—and she sees something in him that could turn the tide of the monster incursion. Yuki holds the unique power to make Peaches more effective, but he’ll have to become Kyoka’s willing slave to join the fight against the Yomotsu Shuuki and save the world.

German series Where’s Wanda? premieres on Netflix October 2 with the first two episodes. It tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt, who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda, who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole. Disguising themselves as employees of an electrical company, they bug their neighborhood and then half their suburb, finding out that behind closed doors, none of their neighbors are who they pretend to be. 

Season three of Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins premieres August 17 on Oxygen. Faith Jenkins, former criminal prosecutor at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, explores the heart stopping details of murders traced back to romantic liaisons and close friendships that seemed perfect on the surface. Stories investigated this season include a beloved second grade teacher who goes missing just as she’s embarking on a new chapter in her life; a former DEA agent found dead after living a quiet life in the Florida Keys; a Korean War veteran whose murder unveils a tangled web of secrets and betrayal and a mother who vanishes on her way home from a prenatal yoga class. 

Apple TV+ has ordered a second season of Camp Snoopy. The series sees Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts, along with Charlie Brown and friends, enjoying an adventure-filled summer outdoors. After discovering their troop is in danger of disbanding, Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts set off to immerse themselves in nature and the Great Outdoors, with the Beagle Scout Manual as their guide. Meanwhile, Charlie Brown and friends enjoy their summer at Camp Spring Lake, crossing paths with Snoopy as they experience hiking, swimming, sitting around campfires and everything summer camp and the outdoors have to offer. 

Docuseries PD True premieres on Paramount+ August 6. The series features real, raw, and unfiltered stories shared between the men and women officers who worked shoulder-to-shoulder to solve shocking and even unthinkable crimes. In each episode they recount serial killings, mass shootings, crimes of passion and revenge, and more. Viewers may have seen the headlines and know the basics, but they’ve never heard them from the cops themselves, who had to sift through horrific crime scenes or carry out risky undercover assignments. What got them through, they say, is never quitting on the mission and their dogged determination to see justice done. It is built around intimate interviews with the lead officers on each case. They share their strategies, and are candid about the emotions they felt, and sometimes still feel for the victims. Complementing their stories is a trove of exclusive video which is woven with never-before-seen evidence that gives a moment-by-moment feel for how the case unfolded. 

Season twelve of The Masked Singer premieres September 25 on Fox. The new season will feature special theme nights celebrating huge blockbuster fan favorites and music from iconic superstars. Additionally, new this season, clues will be hidden everywhere – embedded in costumes, in song choices, packages and on-stage moments. See if you can spot them! The singing competition features host Nick Cannon, alongside fan favorite panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rita Ora.

Season two of Shahmaran premieres August 8 on Netflix. As a powerful darkness reawakens, Sahsu and Maran face a series of trials that will determine the fate of humanity – and their own.

Chimp Crazy premieres on HBO August 18. Former nurse-turned-exotic animal broker Tonia Haddix, who refers to herself as the “Dolly Parton of chimps,” spends her days caring for animals in captivity. However, her limitless love for one chimpanzee in particular spins into a wild cat-and-mouse game with authorities and an animal rights group. Through Tonia’s and other “chimp mom” experiences, the series reveals the singular bonds that form between owners and their highly intelligent great ape pets. The series exposes the risks humans take when they try to raise these animals as members of their family, as well as the risks to the welfare of the animals themselves. 

Killer Lies: Chasing A True Crime Con Man premieres on National Geographic August 28. The three-part series tracks the rise and fall of serial killer expert Stéphane Bourgoin whose dark lies are exposed by sleuthing fans. Cursed Gold: A Shipwreck Scandal premieres August 21 on National Geographic. Cult Massacre: One Day in Jonestown premieres August 14 on National Geographic. 

City of God: The Fight Rages On premieres on HBO Latino and Max August 25. The series is set two decades after the events of the film and includes the return of memorable characters such as Rocket (Wilson), Berenice, Bradock, Cinthia, Barbantinho and Melonhead, as well as new faces that will bring the continuation of this story to life, including Jerusa, Lígia and Genivaldo Curió. 

Expedition X and Expedition Bigfoot return with all-new seasons beginning August 14 on Discovery Channel. Expedition X kicks off the action at 9PM ET/PT, as adventurer Josh Gates and his team of investigators dive into the stranger side of the unknown, seeking the truth behind the world’s eeriest supernatural mysteries. This season welcomes new host Heather Amaro to the team, a third-generation paranormal researcher who has spent decades investigating mysterious phenomena. Together with scientist Phil Torres, they delve far beyond the unknown and on a spine-tingling expedition into the unexplained. In Expedition Bigfoot, an elite team of researchers including acclaimed primatologist Dr. Mireya Mayor and Bigfoot experts Bryce Johnson and Russell Acord return to the field in their groundbreaking hunt for the legendary cryptid. Venturing back to the Lost Coast of Northern California, the epicenter of Bigfoot activity, the team embarks on their first ever expedition to unearth evidence of the cryptid’s breeding ground. Utilizing advanced technology, the hunt is on as they believe they’ve located a nesting site and attempt to track down a family of Bigfoots… before they find them.
