Season two of The Diplomat premieres October 31 on Netflix. In the first season, Kate Wyler is a seasoned foreign service officer more at home in a crisis zone than an upper-crust atmosphere. She’s planning to take her next post in Afghanistan when the White House comes calling with a change of orders, sending her to London as the US ambassador to the United Kingdom. It’s not the behind-the-scenes world she thrives in, but with war brewing on one continent and boiling over on another, her skills will still be called upon. Kate will have to defuse international crises, forge strategic alliances in London and adjust to her new place in the spotlight – all while trying to survive her marriage to fellow career diplomat and charismatic political star Hal Wyler. He’s negotiated the end of his share of wars, but sharing the spotlight with a wife who has long lurked in the shadows could be his most challenging mission yet. In this high-stakes political drama, the transcendence and torture of long-term relationships between countries and people takes center stage.

Michelle Pfeiffer is set to star in The Madison from Taylor Sheridan, set in the Yellowstone universe. The series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? hosted by Travis Kelce premieres October 16 on Prime Video with the first three episodes. Celebrity participants include comedians Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer, and Ron Funches; Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick; former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco; reality stars Garcelle Beauvais and Lala Kent; podcaster Sophia Stallone; and actress and producer Lilly Singh. The series offers a fun, new twist on the premise of the original popular format. Each game will welcome an adult contestant who will rely on a classroom full of celebrities from comedy, screen, and sports to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum, in an effort to win a $100,000 prize. Rather than compete against the stars, contestants enlist their help and, in some cases, can even “cheat” off of them. And on the final question, worth $100,000, the contestant selects one celebrity to discuss the answer with before locking in. The final question is always at the 6th-grade level.

Season two of Tell Me Lies premieres September 4 on hulu with the first two episodes. The new season picks up as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer. Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s friend group, as the fallout from Season One impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.

Season five of Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog premieres August 16 on Nat Geo. The exciting twelve episode season includes some of César’s quirkiest and most severe cases yet including a dog who is triggered by bags, a red-zone rehab for a nearly blind and deaf dog and an overexcited puppy whose parents lack leadership. This season also marks the renowned dog behavior expert’s 20th anniversary on television.

The Tyrant premieres August 14 on hulu. When U.S. intelligence learns that the South Korean government is working on a deadly new virus under a secretive program, they demand that all research be halted immediately and that samples be turned over. However, the team is attacked and the sample is stolen by a professional killer. With everything at stake, a U.S. agent tries to retrieve the deadly sample and what ensues is a breathtaking action-packed battle between intelligence services and unknown parties.

Michael Thomas Grant has been cast in the upcoming 21st season of Grey’s Anatomy. He will play an openly gay Episcopal chaplain at the hospital. He will make his first appearance in the second episode of the season.
