Apple TV+ has renewed Slow Horses for a sixth season. The series was previously renewed for a fifth season. Season six is adapted from “Joe Country” and “Slough House,” the sixth and seventh novels in the Mick Herron “Slough House” book series. The season will see the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. 

Season three of Invincible premieres February 6 on Prime Video. Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic series, the series follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he’ll need to go to protect the people he loves. 

Like Water for Chocolate premieres on HBO Latino November 3. The series is based on the novel by Laura Esquivel and explores the idea that sometimes traditions can become a prison, an obstacle for love. Tita de la Garza and Pedro Múzquiz are two souls deeply in love, yet unable to be together due to entrenched family customs. The protagonists navigate a world of magical realism and rich flavors as Tita struggles between the destiny imposed on her by her family and her fight for love. Along the way, the audience will witness her greatest refuge: the kitchen. For Tita, her magical connection to cooking becomes an active resistance against oppression, allowing her to channel her deepest desires and passions into her recipes, transforming those who taste them. 

The English dub of I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History premieres on Crunchyroll October 15. This young girl hates all those goodie-two-shoes heroines. So when she’s reincarnated as Alicia, the villain in her favorite fantasy dating sim, it’s like a dream come true! There’s just one problem: the more she tries to be evil, the more the prince seems to fall for her. Alicia will have to work much harder if she ever wants to become the world’s greatest villainess.

Netflix has renewed Culinary Class Wars for a second season. 100 talented chefs go head-to-head in a fiery battle. Among the cooks in Culinary Class Wars are hidden masters (aka “black spoon”) who will challenge the star chefs (aka “white spoon”) to become the best in Korea. Will the star chefs cement their status, or will the hidden masters outshine them?

Laurie Metcalf, Tom Hollander and Olivia Williams have been cast in the upcoming third installment of Netflix’s Monster. Metcalf will play Ed Gein’s mother, Hollander will portray Alfred Hitchcock, and Williams will play Alma Hitchcock. Charlie Hunnam was previously cast as Ed Gein. 

Hulu has ordered a new series from Dan Fogelman. The family drama series will be set in the NFL. No other details have been made available. 

The new season of Christina in the Country premieres November 12 on HGTV. Real estate expert and designer Christina Haack will continue to expand her design business in the South, creating custom dream homes for Nashville-area clients and navigating the hot market with her next flip and first rental property. Christina will take bigger design risks to bring her clients’ visions to life, transforming dated kitchens, primary suites, basements and entertainment areas into breathtaking spaces with functionality, modern amenities and her signature high-end style. Christina and her children also will make special memories at their family farm that is now home to a goat, mini donkey, pony and chickens. 

Hulu has ordered a new comedy special from Matteo Lane. The special will film October 24 at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center. 

Comedy series Detroiters is now available to stream on Paramount+. The series stars real-life best friends and Detroit natives Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson as small-time ad men in the Motor City. Whatever they do, they do it together. And no matter what, Tim and Sam’s love for each other and their city never wavers.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Part 1 arrives on Blu-ray™ on January 28, 2025. Fans excited for the release can expect an elixir of special features including 12 mini-episodes featuring Maomao and Jinshi that have never officially been subtitled until now. Horimiya: The Missing Pieces will release with a Blu-ray and DVD combo set on January 21, 2025. This collection of episodic stories completes the romantic tale between Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura and will be packaged together with several physical character art cards created by character designer and chief animation director Haruko Iizuka. Also coming to Blu-ray this January from Crunchyroll will be Dead Mount Death Play Part 2, The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord, and more.

Disney Jr. has ordered Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. The series follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho as they work together to solve problems both big and small and protect their city. To help them in their Super Hero endeavors, they each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them each enhanced super-strength. In addition, Iron Man has a Nano-Shield; Ironheart has a Heartbeat Bubble forcefield to protect people, and Iron Hulk has his strong Iron Boom clap and Iron Hulk Stomp. They work out of their beachfront base, Iron Quarters (IQ), under the supervision of their superpowered android, Vision, and their furry pup, Gamma, who has her very own Iron Pup suit and accompanies the Iron Friends on many of their adventures. 

Wonder Pets: In the City premieres December 13 on Apple TV+. The preschool series introduces a trio of heroes: Izzy the Guinea Pig, Tate the Snake, and Zuri the Bunny. These heroic classroom pets live in a kindergarten in New York City and travel all around the globe in their amazing “Jetcar” to rescue animals in musical, mini-opera-themed adventures. When the going gets tough, Izzy, Tate and Zuri always remember to combine their talents and abilities and work together to save the day – because together, there’s nothing they can’t do! 

BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- will begin streaming on Crunchyroll October 17. “That’s a hassle.” That was second-year high schooler Nagi Seishiro’s favorite phrase as he lived his dull life. Until Mikage Reo, a classmate who dreamed of winning the World Cup, discovered Nagi’s hidden skill, inspiring him to play soccer and share his outstanding talent. One day, he receives an invitation to the mysterious BLUE LOCK Project. What awaits him there is an encounter with the finest strikers assembled from across the country. Nagi’s dream of becoming the best, alongside Reo, will take this prodigy to a world he’s never known.

Bruce Springsteen: Backstage and Backstreets premieres October 20 on ABC. In the special, George Stephanopoulos interviews Springsteen, who shares insights into his extraordinary career and personal reflections on the challenges he has faced. The special includes exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews from his concert in Washington, D.C., and moments from the Toronto Film Festival. Springsteen also speaks openly for the first time about his health after rescheduling concerts last year, as well as the health challenges facing his wife and E Street Band member, Patti Scialfa. The special follows Springsteen to his beloved adopted hometown of Asbury Park, New Jersey, and includes a sit-down interview at The Stone Pony – the club Springsteen helped make famous – where he talks about his life and inspirations. Throughout the special, Stephanopoulos also speaks with key members of the E Street Band about what it’s like working with “The Boss.” 

Part 1 of Rhythm and Flow: Brazil premieres November 12 on Netflix. Part 2 will premiere November 19. The series highlights the artistic growth of the participants throughout the competition. The winner will receive R$ 500,000 to launch their career as well as a spot on Season 5 of Sintonia. Serving as judges are Djonga, from Belo Horizonte; Filipe Ret, from Rio de Janeiro; and sisters Tasha & Tracie, from São Paulo. Following the same format as the US, French and Italian versions, the reality show is shot in the three judges’ hometowns, with a focus on the places that impacted their careers – Viaduto Santa Tereza (in Belo Horizonte), Tavares Bastos and Lapa (in Rio de Janeiro) and Cidade Tiradentes (in São Paulo). 

Citadel: Honey Bunny premieres November 7 on Prime Video. The riveting spy thriller set against the vibrant tapestry of the 90’s, which features explosive action, high-octane stunts, and edge-of-your-seat excitement, complemented by multilingual performances and a grand visual scale. When stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig, they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal. Years later, as their dangerous past catches up, the estranged Honey and Bunny must reunite and fight to protect their young daughter Nadia. 

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson premieres live November 15 on Netflix. Jake “El Gallo” Paul faces Mike Tyson, the Baddest Man on the Planet, in the highly-anticipated fight the world’s been waiting for.

The English dub of Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister premieres on Crunchyroll October 15. Uryu Kamihate is a high school student striving to enter Kyoto University’s medical school. After being raised at an orphanage, Uryu is taken in by the chief priest at Amagami Shrine, where he begins to live as a freeloader—and to cohabit with Yae, Yuna, and Asahi, the three beautiful shrine maiden sisters! What’s more, the condition he must meet in order to live at the shrine for free is to marry into the family and inherit the shrine! How will Uryu overcome his marriage meetings with the three sisters as well as the many challenges that Amagami Shrine faces? So begins a miraculous rom-com about living under the same roof with three shrine maidens!

Season three of Transformers: EarthSpark premieres October 25 on Paramount+. In season three, a giant-size Dome divides the town of Witwicky and traps the Decepticons inside, but it can’t hold them forever. The Malto family and the Autobots must figure out a long-term solution, and help arrives from an unlikely place. While doing all they can to get life back to normal again, a mysterious saboteur threatens the Autobots, and Robby and Mo face a ruthless foe who challenges their right to wield the power of Quintus Prime.
