Netflix has canceled Unstable after two seasons. Season two saw Ellis lay out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Tim Key, and Eric Rahill have been cast in the upcoming The Office followup series. They join Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young in the Peacock series. 

ABC has made adjustments to its fall schedule. Monday Night Football will continue simulcasting on Monday nights. Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune, Press Your Luck and What Would You Do? were previously scheduled to air that night. What Would You Do? will now air Wednesdays at 10, pushing previously scheduled Scamanda to midseason. Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune, and Press Your Luck will also now air in midseason. 

Ariana Grande is set to host Saturday Night Live October 12 on NBC. She will be joined by musical guest Stevie Nicks on the late night series. 

A Thousand Blows premieres on hulu in 2025. The series follows Hezekiah Moscow, who finds himself thrust into the vibrant and violent melting pot of post-industrial revolution London’s East End from Jamaica. Drawn into the criminal underbelly of the thriving boxing scene, he meets Mary Carr, leader of The Forty Elephants – the notorious all-female London gang – as they battle for survival on the streets. As Hezekiah sharpens his new skills, he comes up against Sugar Goodson, a seasoned and dangerous boxer and the two are soon locked into an intense rivalry that spills out way beyond the ring. 

Reba McEntire has teamed up with renowned songwriter Carole King and written the show’s theme song for her upcoming new NBC comedy, Happy’s Place. The series stars Reba McEntire as her character, Bobbie, inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo, a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had. The series also stars Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn. 

Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus are attached to the upcoming The Big Bang Theory spinoff series set at Max. The three appeared in the original series and will reprise their roles. 

This month, ABC will air a ghostly lineup of Halloween-themed episodes and festive films. The spine-tingling new episodes include 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, Dancing with the Stars and Doctor Odyssey, and broadcast television debuts of fan favorites Haunted Mansion (2023) and Hocus Pocus 2

Limited series Death by Lightning will premiere on Netflix in 2025. The series brings to life the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield, reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau – the man who would come to kill him. 

The Cage premieres on Netflix November 8. Dreaming of going pro, a young fighter struggles to be seen until an unexpected combat lands him a shot at the big time – and a brutal rival in the cage. It is the entertaining and aspirational hero’s journey of an outsider in the sensational world of MMA. 

Docuseries Investigation Alien premieres on Netflix November 8. The series follows renowned investigative journalist, George Knapp, as he reveals the findings of his 30-year quest investigating UFOs and brings forward never before seen evidence.
