Missing You premieres January 1 on Netflix. Harlan Coben’s five episode limited thriller series stars Rosalind Eleazar and focuses on Kat Donovan, a detective specializing in Missing Persons. Eleven years ago, her fiance Josh, the love of her life, vanished without a trace, and she hasn’t heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s unexpected reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past. 

The Americas premieres February 23 on NBC. Narrated by Tom Hanks, the series showcases the wonders, secrets and fragilities of the world’s greatest supercontinent. For the first time, the Americas stars in its own incomparable series, using cutting-edge technology to uncover never-before-seen behavior, and highlight the extraordinary, untold wildlife stories that will deeply connect with millions around the world. Five years in the making and filmed over 180 expeditions, this groundbreaking series reveals the spectacular landscapes of Earth’s most varied landmass – the only one to stretch between both poles. Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta returns January 7 on MTV. After the fallout from her cast album concert, Spice takes a select crew to London for a global performance to reclaim her narrative. Saucy Santana is exploring new musical territories, ready to shake up the Atlanta music scene while challenging the status quo of the old guard’s dominance. Karlie Redd puts everything on the line for her relationship with millionaire TLO, as past exes surface and attempt to shake up their happily ever after. Rasheeda and Kirk work to restore harmony in the Frost family, but power struggles threaten their progress. With new rumors swirling around Scrappy, his tumultuous personal life spills into the public eye, including a new crisis involving Momma Dee. Bambi emerges as a formidable force, as she navigates a delicate truce with her former foes & ex-husband Scrappy, but is tested as new bomb drops and loyalties are broken. Lil Zane and Ashley Conley tackle new family pressures as their marriage hangs on a lifeline. Yandy and Mendeecees begin to question their priorities and friendships as they desperately try to move on from the explosive allegations that shattered their public image last season. Joc and Kendra reverse roles this season when Joc’s karmic jealousy comes to a head and threatens to push his and Kendra’s marriage to the brink. Latin recording artist International Nova and his wife Cristina bring passion, ambition, and fresh perspectives to the cast. 

One Hundred Years of Solitude Part 1 premieres December 11 on Netflix. Married against their parents’ wishes, cousins José Arcadio Buendía and Úrsula Iguarán leave their village behind and embark on a long journey in search of a new home. Accompanied by friends and adventurers, their journey culminates with the founding of a utopian town on the banks of a river of prehistoric stones that they baptize Macondo. Several generations of the Buendía lineage will mark the future of this mythical town, tormented by madness, impossible loves, a bloody and absurd war, and the fear of a terrible curse that condemns them, without hope, to one hundred years of solitude. It is based on the book by Gabriel García Márquez, published in 1967. 

The Way Home returns for season three January 2 on Hallmark+. The season will make its Hallmark Channel premiere in Fall 2025. Season three picks up where season two left off – with Kat and her brother Jacob, who went missing more than two decades ago at the age of eight and is now an adult, poised to walk into the Landry home to an unsuspecting Del. Viewers will be introduced to a groovy new era when the pond transports Kat and Alice to 1974 – the year Del and Colton first met as teens and their epic love story began. Alice is befriended by a young, spritely Evelyn Goodwin but their budding friendship complicates Alice’s relationship with Del, who wants her memories of Colton to remain the way they are. Meanwhile, Kat attempts to close the door on the 1800s after making startling discoveries. In the present day she and Elliot navigate a new chapter in their relationship, while he finds himself faced with his own complicated past. 

Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell are set to star in HBO’s drama Half Man. The series follows estranged ‘brothers’ Niall and Ruben. When Ruben shows up unexpectedly at Niall’s wedding, it leads to an explosion of violence that catapults us back through their lives. Spanning almost 40 years from the 1980s to the present day, this ambitious series will cover the highs and lows of the brothers’ relationship, from them meeting as teenagers to their falling out as adults – with all the good, bad, terrible, funny, angry, and challenging moments along the way. Half Man will capture the wild energy of a changing city – a changing world, even – and try to get to the bottom of the difficult question… What does it mean to be a man? 

Courtney B. Vance has been cast as Zeus in Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He takes over the role played by Lance Reddick in the first season prior to his death. 

The series finale of Blue Bloods will air December 13 with the final two episodes. The series will end its landmark run with 293 episodes. In “Entitlement,” Eddie and Badillo try to help a man whose apartment has been taken over by a squatter who also happens to be Jamie’s confidential informant. Also, Danny and Baez investigate when a star student is found dead in her dormitory; Frank suspects the governor has an agenda when he comes to him with a proposal; and Erin oversteps when she tries to play matchmaker for Anthony. In “End of Tour,” It’s all hands on deck for the Reagan family, as they race to stop deadly mayhem in the city when the gangs of New York unite together to demand amnesty for the release of their imprisoned members and those awaiting trial. 

Matthew Broderick and his son James Wilkie Broderick will guest star in a new episode of CBS’ Elsbeth in 2025. Matthew Broderick will play Lawrence Grey. When Manhattan’s elite want to make sure their offspring get into the prep school and then college of their choice, Lawrence Grey is the man to call no matter their grades, test scores or personality. Grey’s expertise and connections make him rich and powerful, but when someone threatens his perch, he is driven to murder. James Wilkie Broderick will play Carl, a top “success trainer” at Lawrence Grey’s company, Outmatch Educational Consulting, helping the offspring of Manhattan’s super-rich make it into the Ivy League.

Michelle Buteau will host the 2024 BBMAs presented by Marriott Bonvoy which airs December 12 on FOX and Fire TV Channels, and on-demand on Paramount+, with performances also rolling out across Billboard.com, and via BBMAs and Billboard social channels. Zach Bryan leads the 2024 BBMA finalists, up for 18 awards with 21 total entries. Taylor Swift, the most decorated female BBMAs artist of all time, is a finalist in 16 categories with 17 total entries.Morgan Wallen won the most BBMAs in 2023 (11) and this year celebrates 15 finalist entries in 13 categories. Sabrina Carpenter is a first-time finalist in 9 categories. First-time BBMA finalists include Teddy Swims (8), Tyla (8), Benson Boone (6), Shaboozey (6), Tommy Richman (4), Falling in Reverse (3), Forest Frank (3), Junior H (3), Chappell Roan (2), ENHYPEN (2), Muni Long (2), and The Red Clay Strays (2). 

Queen Latifah will host The 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors which will air December 22 on CBS. In a star-studded celebration on the Kennedy Center Opera House stage, the 47th class of Kennedy Center Honorees will be saluted by today’s leading performers from New York, Hollywood and the arts capitals of the world. Seated in the Box Tier of the iconic Kennedy Center Opera House, the Honorees will accept the recognition and gratitude of their peers through performances and tributes. As previously announced, the recipients of the 47th Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievement are acclaimed director and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola; the legendary American rock band the Grateful Dead (Mickey Hart, Billy Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Bobby Weir); blues rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Bonnie Raitt; jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval; and The Apollo, which will receive a special Honors as a historic American institution. The 47th Kennedy Center Honors Gala concludes with a post-performance party in the Grand Foyer. The Kennedy Center Honors recognizes and celebrates individuals whose unique contributions have shaped the way we see ourselves, each other and our world. Recipients have each had an impact on the rich tapestry of American life and culture through the performing arts. Whether in music, dance, theater, opera, motion pictures or television, each Kennedy Center Honoree has a unique place in the national consciousness and their influence has inspired audiences from all walks of life. Natural history series Asia premieres January 25 on BBC America and AMC+. Presented by renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough, the cinematic series explores each corner of this remarkable part of our planet and journeys through Asia’s most stunning landscapes, uncovering stories of extraordinary unseen animal behavior. Across 7 episodes plus a ‘Making Of’ special filmed over the course of nearly four years, this is the first time that Asia – home to the highest mountain range, the deepest ocean, the tallest jungles, and the biggest cave – has been the focus of a BBC America andmark wildlife series. 

The final installment of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace trilogy will premiere in January on ID. The new season picks up immediately following the bombshell finale of Natalia Speaks, where the illusion of Natalia finding her happy family was completely shattered. After an unprecedented and volatile phone call in which Natalia’s new adoptive family, the Manses, told production, “We’re done, we’re done with her,” The Final Chapter dives back into Natalia’s story as she faces a new set of challenges and upheavals from a dramatic rescue mission to new allegations of abuse. It offers a conclusion to Natalia’s story as she strives for healing and resolution in her tumultuous journey filled with decades of unexpected twists and turns. 

Love Never Lies: South Africa premieres on Netflix November 29. Six couples face trust issues, temptations, and a ruthless lie detector in South Africa’s first dating show of its kind – testing their love and honesty. Hosted by the stunning Minnie Dlamini, couples will face a series of tough questions exposing their deepest secrets and biggest lies.

Docuseries Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker Tapes premieres on Peacock December 10. In advance of the 40th anniversary of his murderous reign of terror and epic arrest, this project uses Death Row audio interviews with Ramirez as well as audio and video interviews with his family, friends and wife – most of which have never been heard before – to explore how a perfect storm of child abuse and twisted boyhood influences enabled a troubled young man from El Paso, TX to become the infamous Night Stalker. These tapes offer an unsettling and thought-provoking look into the mind of a brutal serial killer and, by the end of the series, will provide significant findings to the age old question of whether a monster is born or created – or both.
