Season five of Harley Quinn premieres January 16 on Max. The new season finds Harley and Ivy in a new location: Metropolis! – the home of all things Superman, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet. Harley and Ivy discover that something sinister is at play and all is not what it seems. Looming threats include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, plus fan-favorite Brainiac. But of course, Harley’s crew of misfits and allies will join her on this irreverent journey that takes no prisoners in having fun in the DC sandbox.
The Upshaws Part 6 premieres on Netflix January 9. Bennie Upshaw, the head of a Black working class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family – wife Regina, their two young daughters and firstborn son, the teenage son he fathered with another woman — and tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law, all without a blueprint for success. Beyond getting her own way, Patricia continues to battle with her cancer and to tighten an irresistible rope with Néstor. Jesica seeks to regain the confidence that characterizes her, but cannot decide between Lluís and Biel. Pilar will continue to deal with her son’s addictions, although Quique will find in her an unexpected ally when the new management of the center leads him to make a questionable decision. Added to all this is the arrival of a prestigious oncologist, Sophie, determined to turn the Joaquín Sorolla upside down.

Featuring more than 60 contributors, including SNL alumni, and covering decades of SNL history, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most iconic hallmarks of the American late night comedy institution. Each episode reveals new insights into the show’s rich history, pulling back the curtain on everything from the writers’ room to the famed audition process.
The CW has picked up Sullivan’s Crossing for a third season. The ten episode third season is based on the book series by Robyn Carr. The new season starring Morgan Kohan, Chad Michael Murray, and Scott Patterson is currently in production and will premiere in 2025.
HGTV has renewed Zillow Gone Wild for a ten episode second season. Jack McBrayer takes viewers on tours of the weirdest, wackiest and wildest properties on the market. It features the characters who have embraced non-traditional homes with their distinctive décor and imaginative architecture and shares the inventive ways to market a distinctive property. The series explores each home’s unique history, as well as the intriguing backstories of the buyers and sellers. In the new season, each abode will be ranked on its unique attributes, and one house will be selected as the “wildest” of them all at the end of each episode.
Shohreh Aghdashloo has joined the cast of The Wheel of Time for season three. The new season of the Prime Video series premieres March 13. Aghdashloo joins series star Rosamund Pike in portraying one of the powerful Aes Sedai – a group of women with the ability to channel the One Power who are part of an elite sisterhood. She will be playing ‘Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan ,’ a highly anticipated character from Robert Jordan’s eponymous and epic fantasy book series upon which the show is based. Elaida is a ruthlessly powerful Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, as proficient in politicking as she is in channeling. She has a deep history with Moiraine and Siuan, and scores to settle with both of them when she returns to the White Tower. Elaida is someone who believes in ends over means, and is willing to do anything to achieve what she envisions to be the greater good.

Swedish crime drama The Breakthrough premieres January 7 on Netflix. The series is based on the nonfiction book of the same name about Sweden’s second largest murder investigation to date. When a shocking double homicide goes unsolved for 16 years, a detective teams up with a genealogist to catch the killer before it becomes a cold case.
