Production on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things has wrapped. The Netflix series will premiere in 2025. The season finale of NBC’s Brilliant Minds will now air as a special event with back-to-back episodes on January 6 at 9 and 10 p.m. ET/PT. The original season finale date was a week later on January 13. Netflix has secured the exclusive U.S. rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the 2027 and 2031 tournaments, marking the first time the tournament will appear on a streaming service. The agreement covers all languages, with studio shows and top-tier talent planned with a dual telecast for both English and Spanish language broadcasts in the U.S.The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, which will be hosted in Brazil from June 24 to July 25, will feature the 32 best teams from around the globe competing across twelve cities.

MTV’s Teen Mom franchise is celebrating its Sweet 16 with an all-new season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter on January 30. NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix, has drafted Pentatonix as its national anthem performers for the first-ever games to stream live on Netflix this December 25. They will perform the national anthem in Houston as the Baltimore Ravens face-off against the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM ET. In Pittsburgh, it’s the Super Bowl LVIII-winning Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET with a special national anthem performance honoring the military from Voices of Service, a singing quartet featuring retired military Veterans Ron Henry, Christal Rheams, Jason Hanna and Caleb Green.
ESPN will exclusively produce more than 14 consecutive hours of live NBA coverage this Christmas – Wednesday, December 25. The star-studded, five-game Christmas slate, presented by State Farm, will be available on more platforms than ever, including ABC, ESPN, Disney+ and ESPN+. The action tips off at noon ET when Disney, ESPN and the NBA present Dunk the Halls – the first real-time, animated NBA game as an alt-cast for the San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks contest.
