The Pitt premieres January 9 on Max. The series is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room. 

Comedic thriller Common Side Effects premieres February 2 on adult swim. The series follows Marshall and Frances, two former high school lab partners who share a secret: Marshall has discovered the world’s greatest medicine, a mushroom that can heal almost anything. But getting it out into the world won’t be easy – the DEA, big pharma, and international businessmen are all on the chase to stop them. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race unveils the guest judges for the new season premiering January 3 on MTV. Katy Perry, Doechii, Sandra Bernhard, Julia Schlaepfer, Paul W. Downs, Hunter Schafer, Quinta Brunson, Jamal Sims, Law Roach, Adam Lambert, Betsey Johnson, Whitney Cummings, Sam Smith, Jerrod Carmichael, June Diane Raphael and Tracee Ellis Ross will serve as guest judges. This season ushers in a new twist that only RuPaul’s Drag Race can deliver – The Badonka Dunk Tank. Following the lipsync, each eliminated queen has a chance to receive immunity and save themselves from having to sashay away. Queens will choose from 10 levers and if they pick one of the two levers that dunks Michelle, they get to remain in the competition. If not, they will be eliminated. 

The Queen of Christmas and best-selling female artist of all time, Mariah Carey, will star in the Show Open for NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix this December 25th, bringing her unparalleled holiday magic to screens worldwide. Fresh off her largest and most spectacular Christmas tour to date, Mariah is set to dazzle fans this Christmas with a taped performance of her record-breaking single, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” 

Chris Rock will host Saturday Night Live December 14 on NBC. Gracie Abrams will serve as musical guest on the late night series. 

Farmer Wants A Wife has been renewed for a third season on Fox, set to premiere March 20. Kimberly Williams-Paisley will join the show as host, stepping in as the new resident cupid, guiding these four young farmers and daters as they look for real connections and true love. A new crop of farmers host a group of single women who leave behind the comfort and convenience of city life for the charms and challenges of country living, as they embark on an adventure that could change the course of their lives forever. The third season will dive deeper into the beauty and trials of homegrown love, and new twists will put relationships to the ultimate test. Along the way, the farmers and their daters hit the road as they travel to Alabama for a speed dating event, Tennessee for a country ball, and Texas for an overnight camping mixer. New this season, the final daters will bring their families back to the farms where their loved ones will experience first-hand what it is like living in the countryside. As the ladies immerse themselves in the realities of farm life, some will blossom while some will head out to pasture, and only time will tell if they have the patience, spirit and adaptability required to be a farmer’s wife. 

A new adaptation of Friday Night Lights is in the works at Peacock. Following a devastating hurricane, a rag tag high school football team and their damaged, interim coach make an unlikely bid for a Texas High School State Championship becoming a beacon of light for their town. Original showrunner and executive producer Jason Katims will return to helm along with original director and executive producer Peter Berg, who originally developed for television, and original executive producer Brian Grazer. 

Hulu has ordered a pilot for a new Prison Break series. The series is expected to feature new characters and be set in the same universe as the original Fox series. 

Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack built a home-flipping empire and top HGTV series with Flip or Flop – but it all came crashing down after their much-publicized divorce. Now, Tarek and Christina are back in The Flip Off, a throwdown competition which premieres January 29, to see which ex can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, earning the chance at ultimate bragging rights and a first-class vacation paid for by the loser. As the series begins, Christina will start the competition against Tarek and Heather alongside her husband, but a sudden life change will bring a shocking twist. With even more to prove on her own, Christina will turn to her trusted team, stopping at nothing to silence Tarek’s endless bragging and beat him at his own flipping game. 

Spanish language romantic comedy Love You to Death will premiere on Apple TV+ February 5 with the first two episodes. The series tells the story of the cautious Raúl, who reconnects with free-spirited and newly pregnant Marta following his heart cancer diagnosis. They resume a friendship that began in childhood, and in a relationship brought together by fate, begin to test their beliefs about love. Can the commitment-phobic Marta fall in love? And can Raúl meet the love of his life? 

Season four of Valeria premieres February 14 on Netflix. As the four close friends venture into their thirties, their lives face new challenges that make it increasingly difficult to meet up. Yet, despite everything, sticking together remains the only thing that keeps them sane. In this final season, Valeria will have to make a pivotal decision both for her love life, choosing between Víctor and Bruno, and for her professional career; Carmen will have to tackle motherhood alongside Borja and all the changes that a baby entails; Nerea will seek balance between her professional life as a freelancer and stability with Georgina, and meanwhile, Lola will try to overcome a new life crisis: everything that changes when you turn 30, especially when your partner, Rai, is at a very different point in life. 

Season two of Lucy Worsley Investigates premieres January 7 on PBS. British historian Lucy Worsley is back on the case. Examining four new cases in forensic detail, Lucy follows the evidence to explore how some of the most dramatic and brutal chapters in British history unlock issues that speak to modern audiences, from the media treatment and scandalization of female victims, the vulnerabilities of the poorest in society, to the political radicalization of young people.

East Palace is coming soon to Netflix. Gu-cheon can traverse the world of ghosts and defeat them with his sword. Snuck into the cursed palace to solve the strange incidents occurring within, Gu-cheon is met with a dark world beyond his imagination. He’s joined by Saeng-gang, a court lady born with the ability to hear ghosts. Having thought of this ability as a curse her whole life, she uses it now to uncover the palace’s secrets with Gu-cheon, while keeping a secret of her own. King quietly enlists these two extraordinary people to take care of the palace’s curse. Though his rule is good, there are darker sides to the complex King. 

Biblical drama series House of David premieres on Prime Video February 27 with the first three episodes. The series tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel. The series follows the once-mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride. At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king. As Saul loses his power over his kingdom, David finds himself on a journey to discover and fulfill his destiny, navigating love, loss, and violence in the court of the very man he’s destined to replace. As one leader falls, another must rise. 

Apple TV+ celebrates the holidays with Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. A Charlie Brown Christmas streams free on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15. Fans can also get in the holiday season spirit with classics I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales and It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown, along with newer originals including a holiday-themed episode of The Snoopy Show and the Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne special.

Natalia Grace’s story concludes this January with The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter January 6 and 7. The series will see Natalia’s journey come to a conclusion but not before she is forced to navigate a number of seemingly insurmountable challenges.
