Netflix has ordered a reimagining of the Laura Ingalls Wilder book series Little House on the Prairie. Part family drama, part survival tale, and part origin story, the series will offer a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the American West.
The new cast for season 48 of Survivor has been announced. The new season kicks off with a two hour episode February 26 on CBS. It will shift to 90-minute weekly episodes beginning March 5. Nearly 25 years since it first premiered, Survivor continues to be the ultimate test of stamina and will as a fresh group of castaways begins the adventure of a lifetime when they’re stranded on the picturesque islands of Fiji. This latest group of players must form a new society and nimbly adapt to their surroundings while contending with unforeseen obstacles and navigating an increasingly complex social game. The participants will be divided into three tribes of six and face a season to remember from the moment they step on the beach. Even the strongest competitors will be tested and forced to dig deep mentally and physically to ensure their torch stays lit. The players competing on the 48th season are diverse competitors armed with fresh perspectives and a fervent passion for the game, with the same ultimate goal: to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize.
Prime Video has ordered Sterling Point to series. The series was created by Megan Park. No word on plot details yet.

PBS has ordered Marble Hall Murders, an adaptation of the third and final installment in Anthony Horowitz’s Susan Ryeland book series. The new series is a followup to Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders. This series sees Lesley Manville return as Susan Ryeland, a book editor who all too often finds herself involved in baffling murders. Returning to England, she is reluctantly drawn into a new Atticus Pünd mystery, this time written by a new, young writer. “Pünd’s Last Case” is a story set in 1955, in an exotic villa in Corfu – but the identity of a real killer is hidden in the book and once again Susan is going to find herself in grave danger. Tim McMullan reprises his role as Atticus Pünd, the literary detective who steps out of the books to help Susan unravel the real-life mystery. Who killed Miriam Crace, the most famous children’s author in the world?
