Countdown premieres June 25 on Prime Video with the first three episodes. New episodes will follow weekly, leading up to the exhilarating season finale on Wednesday, September 3. When an officer with the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD detective Mark Meachum, portrayed by Ackles, is recruited to a secret task force, alongside undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement, to investigate. But the hunt for the killer soon uncovers a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, kicking off a race against time to save a city of millions. The cast is led by Jensen Ackles, Eric Dane, and Jessica Camacho. 

Jeff Probst has announced the cast of Survivor 50. The 24 returning players will compete in the milestone 50th season of Survivor, premiering in Spring 2026 on CBS. The castaways include iconic returning players from throughout the series’ groundbreaking history, going all the way back to season one, which premiered in May 2000. The new season will push the series into uncharted territory and impact the players like never before. For the first time ever, the game is “In the Hands of the Fans”! Earlier this year, fans voted on key elements of the game, including “Idols or No Idols,” “Final Four Fire Making: Keep It or Lose It” and “Live Finale and Reunion Show in L.A. – or Keep the Winner Reveal and Aftershow in the Jungles of Fiji.” The players won’t know what the fans voted for until they are competing on the island. 

Crime drama series Smoke premieres June 27 on Apple TV+. The series follows an arson investigator who begrudgingly teams up with a police detective as their race to stop two arsonists ignites a twisted game of secrets and suspicions. Starring Taron Egerton as arson investigator ‘Dave Gudsen’ and Jurnee Smollett as police detective ‘Michelle Calderone,’ the cast also features Rafe Spall, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Anna Chlumsky, Adina Porter, Greg Kinnear, and John Leguizamo. 

Leanne premieres July 31 on Netflix. The new comedy series stars Leanne Morgan and is co-created by Susan McMartin, Chuck Lorre and Morgan. Leanne’s life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Starting over when you’re a grandmother and in menopause isn’t exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will navigate this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad. 

Max has renewed Hacks for a fifth season. The renewal comes ahead of its fourth season finale, airing May 29. Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, and Rose Abdoo return alongside Dan Bucatinsky, Helen Hunt, Tony Goldwyn, Kaitlin Olson, Jane Adams, Lauren Weedman, Christopher McDonald, Poppy Liu, Lorenza Izzo, Johnny Sibilly, Paul Felder, Polly Draper, Luenell, and Aristotle Athari. Julianne Nicholson, Michaela Watkins, Bresha Webb, Robby Hoffman, Eric Balfour, Danny Jolles, Gavin Matts, Grover Whitmore, III, Holmes, Jasmine Ashanti, Katy Sullivan, Matt Oberg, Sandy Honig, and Jake Shane joined the cast in season four. 

Season four of The Morning Show premieres September 17 on Apple TV+. The new season opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups – who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real? Along with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the star-studded season four ensemble cast includes Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, and returning fan-favorite Jon Hamm. 

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf premieres August 27 on Prime Video. The Terminal List prequel series featuring additional iconic Jack Carr characters, including James Reece, Raife Hastings, Mohammed Farooq, and Ernest “Boozer” Vickers, is an elevated espionage thriller that takes viewers on Ben Edwards’ journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. The series stars Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt. 

FX has renewed Welcome to Wrexham for a fifth season. The new season will capture the Club’s upcoming debut in the EFL Championship after its historic third consecutive promotion. The network also announced that Necaxa, a new docuseries from Eva Longoria in partnership with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, will premiere this summer. The three are all investors in Aguascalientes, Mexico-based Club Necaxa. The gripping new series chronicles a turbulent and transformational era at the storied Mexican football club and the steadfast supporters who never give up hope. 

Season three of House of Villains will premiere early 2026 on Peacock. Hosted by Joel McHale, the hit competition series brings together 11 reality all-stars who must scheme, strategize, and shade each other in different challenges for a chance to win $200,000 and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.” Season one and two cast member Tiffany “New York” Pollard returns for another chance at villainous victory. Also appearing in the new season are Paul Abrahamian (Big Brother), Tyson Apostol (The Challenge, Survivor), Kate Chastain (Below Deck, The Traitors), Jackie Christie (Basketball Wives), Drita D’Avanzo, Plane Jane, Johnny Middlebrooks, Ashley Mitchell, Christine Quinn, and Tom Sandoval. 

Patrick Walker and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim have been promoted to series regulars on Doc. The two recurred on the first season of the Fox medical drama. 

Nicole Curtis will traverse the country to restore neglected historic homes needing a major rescue in a new season of HGTV’s Rehab Addict, premiering June 24. Across the fresh four episodes, she will embark on one of her biggest challenges yet – fighting to save two derelict properties that are 1,500 miles apart. In Wyoming, Nicole will take on an 1890s house subjected to a bad flip, and, in her hometown of Detroit, she’ll purchase one of the dirtiest abandoned homes she’s ever seen. 

Production has begun on season two of The Gentlemen. The new season will also see the return of Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley and Giancarlo Esposito. Joining the cast for season two will be Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellito, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr and Maya Jama. It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well. 

Darren Criss and Renee Elise Goldsberry will host The Tony Awards: Act One on Pluto TV June 8 at 6:40-8:00 PM, ET/3:40-5:00 PM, PT. Criss earned his first Tony Award nomination this year for his performance as Oliver in “Maybe Happy Ending,” and Goldsberry won a Tony Award for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in “Hamilton” – her debut album, Who I Really Am, comes out this June. The duo will kick off Broadway’s biggest night by presenting the first round of Tony Awards during the exciting pre-show telecast. Immediately following, The 78th Annual Tony Awards will broadcast live to both coasts from 8:00-11:00 PM, LIVE ET/5:00-8:00 PM on CBS with Cynthia Erivo as host. 

Netflix has renewed Mismatched, Black Warrant, Maamla Legal Hai, and The Royals. Returning soon with brand-new seasons, these shows have carved a place in viewers’ hearts with their unforgettable characters, distinctive storytelling, and worlds that linger long after the credits roll. 

Tom Cruise will be a guest on Beckham & Friends Live, an altcast for CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League coverage that will stream exclusively on Paramount+ on Saturday, May 31 at 3:00 PM, ET. Cruise will join Beckham in Munich for the UEFA Champions League Final, the third iteration of Beckham & Friends Live this season. Hosted by Kate Scott, Beckham and Cruise will watch PSG take on Inter Milan in the final live from Allianz Arena and will be joined by additional celebrity friends on set.

Billionaires’ Bunker premieres September 19 on Netflix. The new series comes from the creators of Money Heist. As the world crumbles, a group of billionaires confine themselves within a luxury bunker, where old enemies and new schemes have nowhere to hide.

The Kollective premieres June 10 on hulu. Taking audiences around the world from Budapest to St. Petersburg to London, the series is a gripping thriller about a group of intrepid young citizen journalists who, after a sudden tragedy, find themselves sucked into a globe-spanning web of government lies and corruption. Through a dangerous international investigation, the group exposes nefarious activities of rogue governments and discovers the human price of keeping truth alive. 

Season two of The Ultimatum: Queer Love premieres June 25 with a second batch of episodes premiering July 2. Six new couples, made up of women and non-binary people, are at a crossroads in their relationship. One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married, or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures. 

Season two of Match Me Abroad premieres June 22 on TLC. Six American singles will take a bold step to find love across international borders. With guidance from expert international matchmakers, they explore new romantic possibilities in Brazil, Ireland, and Singapore.
