The Forsytes will premiere on MASTERPIECE on PBS March 22. This lavish reimagining of the Nobel Prize-winning tale of love, ambition, and betrayal follows the wealthy Forsyte family in 1880s London. Inspired by John Galsworthy’s celebrated Forsyte Saga novels, the series portrays events that take place before those covered in Galsworthy’s books. The stellar ensemble cast includes Francesca Annis as the formidable matriarch Ann, Stephen Moyer as Jolyon Forsyte Sr., Danny Griffin as Jo Forsyte Jr., Tuppence Middleton as Frances Forsyte, and Eleanor Tomlinson as Louisa Byrne. Jack Davenport stars as James Forsyte, Joshua Orpin as Soames Forsyte, Millie Gibson as Irene Heron, and Tom Durant-Pritchard as Monty Dartie. Josette Simon OBE is Mrs. Ellen Parker Barrington, a wealthy heiress and friend of the Forsyte family, with Jamie Flatters as architect Philip Bosinney and Owen Igiehon as lawyer Isaac Cole. Susan Hampshire OBE (star of the 1967 BBC Forsyte Saga for which she received the first of her three lead actress Emmys), plays Lady Carteret.

Harry Wild returns for a feature length special November 24 on Acorn TV. Starz has canceled BMF after four seasons. The final episode aired in August. The series was based on the real lives of the Black Mafia Family including Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.
Betsy Brandt will join the new season of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. Brandt will be a series regular on the upcoming third season of the AMC series. The series’ third season, which begins production this week in Vancouver, Canada, will dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new ‘spellbound’ families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, MA, the infamous town of witch trials and folklore.
Netflix announced a straight-to-series order for MRC’s Rabbit, Rabbit, a hostage thriller starring Adam Driver following a highly competitive pursuit. The actor will also executive produce alongside creator/showrunner Peter Craig, and Adolescence director Philip Barantini, who is set to direct the series. When an escaped convict is cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an effort to bargain for his freedom. But the standoff soon escalates into an unmanageable social experiment with his captives, as well as an emotional poker match with a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in “tactical empathy.”
Taraji P. Henson along with her TPH Entertainment has entered into a multiyear first-look agreement with FOX Entertainment Studios (FES). Under this partnership, Henson will serve as executive producer and content originator for both scripted and unscripted television programming, spanning comedy, drama, and reality formats. Henson is celebrated for her iconic role as Cookie Lyon on FOX’s hit series Empire.

Following an incredibly successful inaugural season of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), ESPN and Athletes Unlimited (AU) today announced a multi-year rights extension that strengthens ESPN’s role as an official broadcast partner for AU’s professional leagues in softball, basketball, and volleyball. The expanded agreement deepens ESPN’s investment in women’s sports and reflects its ongoing commitment to spotlighting top-tier female athletes across its networks. As part of this three-year agreement, ESPN will carry 50 exclusive AUSL games annually beginning in 2026, including 47 regular season matchups and the best of three-game AUSL Championship Series. Coverage will span ESPN networks, highlighted by a marquee game on ABC – the first time professional softball will ever air on broadcast television in the U.S. This long-term commitment comes on the heels of a breakout AUSL debut season that attracted a growing fanbase of softball followers and new professional sports fans alike.

Docuseries 50 Seconds: The Fernando Baez Sosa Case premieres November 13 on Netflix. In the early hours of January 18, 2020, what was supposed to be a vacation with friends ended in tragedy.
