Paul Wesley has been cast in the upcoming third season of The Buccaneers. Wesley will play the role as Frank, a mysterious but charming stranger who arrives into Nan and Mrs. St. George’s world, turning it upside down. And they’re doing it together. When they arrived in England, they were all navigating their first loves. Now, they’re looking for the loves of their lives. And with a new and enigmatic Duke at the helm, Tintagel is also facing an uncertain future. If polite English society thought our American girls rocked the boat, this new bad-boy Duke is about to sink the ship.
Dandelion, the debut work by Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi, is officially being adapted into a Netflix series, streaming this April 2026. Set within the Send-Off Department of the Japanese Angel Federation, Dandelion follows “Angels” Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane as they scramble to track down Earthbound spirits – souls unable to move on and find peace – and gently guide them to pass on. The angels find themselves struggling to meet their daily tasks. However, Tetsuo Tanba and his leader, Misaki Kurogane, who make up the 21st Division’s Dandelion Clan, chose to take things at their own pace: instead of rushing through cases, they take time with each spirit, listening to their regrets and helping them resolve what’s holding them back. One day, they encounter the Earthbound spirit of an elderly man who is running at full speed, trying desperately to escape. At the heart of the story are its two leads: Tetsuo Tanba, a foul-mouthed man with a constant scowl who may seem apathetic at first glance, but shows deep compassion as he listens and offers support to spirits; and Misaki Kurogane, the leader of the 21st Division’s Dandelion Clan. Despite her youthful, girl-like appearance, Misaki is a formidable force, rumored to have even laid to rest the legendary soul of Musashi Miyamoto. Blending humor with uniquely crafted characters, the story carries the same creative DNA that would later define Gintama.
