After his mother’s death, Atreus is left with a cold, distant father who he barely knows and who knows little about him in return. McConaughey has taught film courses at UT Austin since 2015.

Season two of A Plan to Kill premieres March 8 on Oxygen. It takes a certain type of person to commit murder. But to methodically devise a meticulous plan to take someone’s life – that type of killing takes on another level of savagery. A Plan to Kill is a true crime series that examines the stories of disturbed killers who spend weeks, months or even years viciously scheming and plotting the demise of their victims. From a San Diego teacher and coach gunned down on the street, leaving his students and fiancée shattered to a young mother and her newborn daughter vanishing from Austin and a Bay Area suburb crime scene with a slew of evidence of a lethal plan for revenge, A Plan to Kill delivers first-hand accounts from investigators who worked the cases and the loved ones of those slain. The series delves into the nefarious plans behind the murders to reveal just how far some people will go to take the life of someone they believe has wronged them. At the end of the day, no matter how complicated the ruse, homicide detectives are able to overcome dead ends, red herrings and misdirects to root out the guilty party and bring them to justice.
