Limited series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen premieres March 26 on Netflix. Rachel (Camila Morrone) is getting married in five days. Together with her fiancé, Nicky (Adam DiMarco), she embarks on a road trip to his family’s vacation home, secluded in a snowy forest, for the intimate wedding ceremony of their dreams. Which really would be so lovely, except … prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can’t shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her foreboding doubts, coupled with a series of eerie coincidences and dreadful surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates? And worse – what could be scarier than lifelong commitment to the wrong person?
Love Overboard premieres March 26 on hulu with all nine episodes. Step aboard the ultimate luxury yacht, where sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle … and find love. But there’s a twist … gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple. As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. Peacock has renewed Love Island USA for an eighth season, set to premiere June 2. The series once again takes place in Fiji as Ariana Madix returns as host. Additionally, season two of Love Island: Beyond the Villa, featuring fan favorite Islanders from Love Island USA season seven, will premiere with two episodes April 15. The season will continue with a pair of new episodes streaming every Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
Temptation Island returns for season two April 10 on Netflix. Four couples, at a pivotal point in their relationships, head to a beautiful island far away from their everyday lives where they will test their bonds by living apart, each with a group of singles of the opposite sex. Isolated from one another, they will go on a journey full of temptation and self-reflection to decide whether to return to their lives together, chart a new path alone, or leave the island with someone new.
Harry Styles will host Saturday Night Live March 14. Styles will also serve double duty as musical guest on the late night NBC series.
The Vampire Lestat premieres June 7 on AMC and AMC+. In the upcoming rock and roll centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population. The series stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle.
Season two of Brilliant Minds will return for its final six episodes starting May 27. Guest stars set to appear in the upcoming episodes include Ed Begley Jr., Anne Archer, Mamie Gummer and Ana Ortiz.
Paramount+ will absorb streamer BET+ into its library. All BET+ content will move to Paramount+, including its original series.
NBCUniversal is getting out of first-run syndication production. The decision has led to the cancellation of Access Hollywood, Access Live, The Steve Wilkos Show and Karamo. Episodes will continue to air into the summer.
Production has begun on the final season of Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown. David Morse has also joined as a series regular playing Russell Hardy, a seasoned FBI agent sent to Kingstown. This season, in the wake of Tracy’s murder and the vengeance visited upon Callahan by Mike (Jeremy Renner) and Kyle (Taylor Handley), FBI agent Russell Hardy (Morse) arrives in Kingstown searching for the “fugitive” Callahan. A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all of Mike’s sins and secrets, and disrupt Kingstown’s tenuous balance of power.
