Look alive, Vampire Diaries fans! The seemingly endless holiday hiatus is almost over and The CW is giving us our first glimpse of scenes from episode 100.
We know “500 Years of Solitude” is going to focus heavily on Katherine and her impending death (boo!), but the first clip from the episode reminds us that when we last left off, Damon had dumped Elena. Despite the baby vampire insisting that she didn’t mind his terrible ways, he was determined not to corrupt her.
But that doesn’t mean that he’s taking the breakup well. Damon is camped out on his favorite barstool while Jeremy and Matt talk about him like he’s not even there. Careful, boys… Damon isn’t the type to appreciate humor at his expense.
Meanwhile, Caroline is positively glowing at the idea of Damon and Elena being done, so much so that she’s memorized their breakup speech. Something tells us that Elena is not going to care for Caroline’s cheer.
