We’ve still got a few weeks to go before all of our favorite CW shows take their annual holiday hiatuses, but the network’s already looking ahead to midseason. On Monday, CW announced a January premiere date for its latest superhero drama, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The Flash/Arrow spinoff will make its debut on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8/7c. We’ve been getting to know some of the heroes already on its parent shows and next week, we’ll get an even bigger superhero team-up when The Flash and Arrow partner for a two-night crossover event. If that’s not enough to get fans excited for the newest show, check out the incredible show trailer below.
The 100 will be joining Legends on Thursdays for its third season and that means all of our vampires are being relocated. Starting Jan. 29, The Vampire Diaries will kickoff Friday nights at 8/7, followed by The Originals at 9/8c. America’s Next Top Model will crown its final winner this December and Reign will return have its official winter finale on Friday, Jan. 22. The network hasn’t given the royal drama an official spring premiere date.
We’re also still waiting to hear when The CW will premiere its other new drama, Containment.
In other network news, six more episodes were added to iZombie’s second season, bringing the total order to 19, and ratings-challenged Crazy-Ex Girlfriend also received extra episodes. Its first season will have 18 episodes.
