General Hospital (01:25): Addressing co-host Michele’s #SoapTwitter meltdown. For the record, every veteran soap star has a soap past. Michael sets a trap for Nelle. If the story’s gonna be on 4 days a week, at least it’s finally interesting, or is it? Familial scenes at the wedding prove to be a highlight.
The Young and the Restless (30:35): Do you like Scary movies? JT’s haunting in Genoa City is setting up a lot of chaos, but why is the focus on shock and awe versus feeling? The mask reveal is outlandish but the show did something similar in the past, and given the extremes Nick is willing to go, we don’t hate everything about it, but there is some criticism. Millennial mix and match — Kyle plays Cupid for Teriah, while Summer’s snowflake powers could rub off on Mariah? As more call for Mal Young to be axed, we stand firm in our belief he shouldn’t be the one to go.
Days of our Lives (54:17): Theresa and Brady finally agree to call a truce but a devious Eve and Victor meddle and could backfire. Why is Eve willing to take a child from its mother after what she lost? Ben faces off with Hope & Rafe at Salem PD after the Cabin of Cin is torched. Though everyone is quick blame Ben, Ciara defends him to those in her life, even clashing with Tripp. Why is everyone but Gabi allowed to be a victim? More than one thing is allowed to be true in that situation.
One Thing We’re Liking (1:35:02): Since we’re all about #positivity, on the suggestion of a listener we’re debuting a new segment where we list one thing we’re excited about. And because we encourage diversity of opinion, the hosts cannot choose what another has selected.
