Netflix has announced the final season of Lucifer will debut on the streaming service September 10. After initially announcing season 5 would be the final season, Netflix ordered a sixth and final, final season
Netflix is in the early stages of development on a live-action Pokemon series. ‘Lucifer’s’ Joe Henderson will write and executive produce the potential series. The series will have the feel of “Detective Pikachu,” the live action movie released a few years ago.
FX announced their previously untitled comedy anthology series from B.J. Novak has been titled The Premise. They also announced that Ben Platt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Daniel Dae Kim, Lola Kirke, Soko, Jermaine Fowler, Ayo Edebiri, and Eric Lange have joined the cast. This is in addition to the cast previously announced including Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, Jon Bernthal, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ed Asner, George Wallace, Boyd Holbrook and Beau Bridges. The Premise debuts Thursday, September 16 with two episodes.
Tonight is an all new episode of the CW’s new series The Republic of Sarah. Xander Berkeley joins the cast throwing off Sarah and Danny will have to face his past. Watch tonight at 9, following the season premiere of Roswell, New Mexico.
Legends of Tomorrow is no stranger to cast changes and season 7 will be no different. It was announced Matt Ryan will be wrapping up his role as John Constantine in season 6. He will then take on the role of a new character named Dr. Gwyn Davies, “an eccentric scientist from the early 20th century who might be the team’s only hope next season.” Additionally, Amy Louise Pemberton, currently the voice of Gideon, will play the role of a real life in the flesh Gideon. Season 6 wraps for the season this summer. Season 7 will premiere October 13 on its new Wednesday night time slot.
We got our first look at Series 13 of Doctor Who, and the newest companion on the TARDIS, Dan, played by John Bishop. Due to the pandemic and shooting schedule, this new series will be one story as opposed to multiple. It will also only feature 8 episodes. The series returns later this year.
NBC revealed the first promo for their new series La Brea. In the new series, a family gets separated when a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles. La Brea debuts on NBC Tuesday, September 28 at 9.
Showtime revealed the first trailer for the new Dexter revival, Dexter: New Blood. The new series premieres November 7.
