Hannah Dodd has been recast as Francesca on Netflix’s Bridgerton. She takes over the role from Ruby Stokes who was cast in Netflix’s upcoming new series Lockwood & Co. The Bridgerton daughter appeared only a handful of time sin the series first two seasons.

Comedy Central has renewed Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens for a third season. The series stars Awkwafia and is a fictional take on her life in Queens growing up.
Netflix has announced a new comedy special starring the late Norm Macdonald. Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special will premiere May 30. The final, posthumous stand-up special was self-taped in the comedian’s home. Macdonald kept his illness a secret for many years. In the summer of 2020, venues were shut down due to the pandemic, but Norm wanted to record the comedy special that he had worked so hard to prepare. He performed it alone in his living room. Being Norm, he did it in one take. Following the special is a bonus featurette with Adam Sandler, Conan O’Brien, Dave Chappelle, David Letterman, David Spade and Molly Shannon, who discuss their friend Norm, a fearless comedian and joyful human being.
New culinary competition series Beachside Brawl will premiere on Food Network June 19. Hosted by Antonia Lofaso, East Coast chef Tiffani Faison and West Coast chef Brooke Williamson lead teams of four cooks in this beachside showdown. Both captains will mentor and cook alongside their teams throughout the competition with one goal – prove that their coast does it best. One team member will be crowned Best of the Beach and win a dream beach getaway worth up to $25,000.

Period piece Hotel Portofino will premiere on PBS June 19. The six episode series starring Natascha McElhone follows an elite yet dysfunctional British family who open a hotel for upper-class travelers on the magical Italian Riviera during the Roaring ’20s. Set in the breathtakingly beautiful resort town of Portofino, this new period drama is about personal awakening at a time of global upheaval in the traumatic aftermath of World War I and the liberating influence of Italy’s enchanting culture, climate and cuisine on elite British travelers.
Discovery+ has ordered We Bought A Funeral Home. The six episode series documents the quirky journey of Heather and Arryn Blumberg and their two kids who will trade in their big city life to buy, renovate, and redecorate a 12,000-square-foot 1800’s Victorian funeral home in the small town of Dresden, Ontario. It will premiere in October.
AMC is developing a series based on the Alan Wake video game series. The first game premieres in 2010 and followed Alan Wake as he investigated the disappearance of his wife.
Netflix has renewed Somebody Feed Phil for a sixth season. The five episode fifth season premieres May 25 and will see Phil travel to Oaxaca, Portland, Maine, Helsinki, Portland, Oregon and Madrid.

The Late Late Show with James Corden is returning to Corden’s native England to broadcast four special episodes from Freemasons’ Hall in Central London June 27 through June 30. The news comes on the heels of Corden’s recent announcement that he will host just one more year of his popular late night series, promising his audience that he will make the most of his final run on the show.
