Apple TV+ has renewed Slow Horses for a seventh season. The renewal comes ahead of season five which will premiere September 24. The series was renewed for a sixth season last year. In season seven, Lamb and his Slow Horses are on the hunt to find and neutralize a mole at the heart of British Government before they can bring down the state. The series is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.

Untamed premieres July 17 on Netflix. The series is a character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.

The fourth and final season of Acapulco premieres July 23 on Apple TV+. In season four, present-day Máximo (Eugenio Derbez) works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s “Best Hotels,” young Máximo (Enrique Arrizon) will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’ future.

Limited crime drama series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy premieres October 16 on Peacock. From 1972-1978, thirty-three young men were kidnapped, murdered, and buried in a crawl space beneath their killer’s house. And no one was the wiser. Not for all those years. Why? He was charming and funny. Had a good, All-American job. Was a community leader. He even volunteered to entertain sick kids… while dressed as a clown. The series peels back the twisted layers of Gacy’s life while weaving in heartrending stories of his victims; exploring the grief, guilt, and trauma of their families and friends; and exposing the systemic failures, missed opportunities, and societal prejudices that fueled his reign of terror.

Three part docuseries Shiny Happy People: A Teenage Holy War premieres July 23 on Prime Video. The series focuses on the controversial organization Teen Mania – once America’s largest youth ministry, attracting millions through their wildly popular stadium shows known as “Acquire the Fire.” The series bursts with peak Millennial nostalgia and cringe, featuring colossal stadiums filled with teens enraptured by religious rock anthems, inspired to swear purity oaths and eagerly embark by the thousands on culturally questionable global missions. But beneath the wholesome youth group illusion lies a darker undercurrent: a high-pressure pipeline of brutal spiritual bootcamps, surreal role-playing scenarios, and relentless psychological control – all under the command of a charismatic leader with endlessly expanding ambitions.

The Monster of Florence premieres October 22 on Netflix. Eight double murders. Seventeen years of terror. Always the same weapon: a .22 caliber Beretta. In Italy, a faceless serial killer sows panic, sparking one of the longest and most complex investigations ever. It is based on real events, direct testimonies, and court documents.

Zarna Garg: Practical People Win premieres July 18 on hulu. Zarna Garg is bringing the heat (and the guilt trips) in her laugh-out-loud Hulu debut, taking aim at husbands, kids, in-laws, and anyone who dares question an Indian mom’s wisdom.
