Gilmore Girls joins the Hallmark Channel lineup starting August 25. Just in time for the fall, the Gilmore family and the beloved residents of Stars Hollow will add twice the warmth and joy to Hallmark Channel’s widely adored slate of heartfelt programming. Viewers can watch episodes from the very beginning on weekdays from 2-6pm and on weekends from 8-10am, in addition to special occasion marathons. 

Hulu has renewed Vanderpump Villa for a third season. Decadence and debauchery collide in the series following Lisa Vanderpump’s hand-selected staff as they work, live, and play at an exclusive French estate: Chateau Rosabelle.

Bobby’s Triple Threat returns for a new season September 2 on Food Network. Bobby Flay’s competition skills are legendary and as host, he has handpicked a trio of top-notch chefs to represent him as the next generation of culinary titans. New York chef and restaurateur Ayesha Nurdjaja is the newest titan, joining Michael Voltaggio and Brooke Williamson to take on highly skilled competitors in three head-to-head cooking rounds with surprise featured ingredients for a chance to win $25,000. The elite chefs entering Bobby’s speakeasy kitchen are a culinary murderers’ row, including heavy hitters Maneet Chauhan, Nini Nguyen, Dale Talde, Jet Tila and Bryan Voltaggio.

The English dub of Kaiju No. 8 season two premieres July 19 on Crunchyroll. In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.

Physical survival reality series Final Draft premieres August 12 on Netflix. The series features 25 former athletes, who were cut from their teams or retired voluntarily, competing to eliminate each other and win a 30 million yen prize they can use to fund a second career. The near-impossible challenges will force the contestants to scheme, show resilience and wage psychological warfare as they fight for a chance to reclaim glory. The show is sure to captivate viewers this summer. 

The English dub of With You and the Rain premieres July 19 on Crunchyroll. On a rainy day, Fuji meets a cute critter posing as a dog and offering an umbrella and a cue card that says, “Please take me home,” and she can’t resist. With this dog-poster’s quirky charm and mysterious ways, life together becomes a heartwarming adventure of friendship and shared seasons.

The Nyaight of the Living Cat English dub premieres on Crunchyroll July 20. Run! In 20XX, the world is dominated by cats. A virus that turns anyone who touches a cat into a cat has spread into a worldwide nyandemic. Anytime cats rub against a human, they turn the person into a cat. Can humanity fight their urge to pet cats to survive in a cat-ridden world?

Mehcad Brooks is leaving Law & Order. Brooks played Detective Jalen Shaw for three seasons on the NBC series. 

Bridget Moynahan will reprise her role as Erin Reagan in the upcoming Blue Blood spinoff series Boston Blue. She will appear in the season premiere alongside Donnie Wahlberg. The series follows NYPD officer Danny Reagan as he takes a position with Boston PD. Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Peters, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.

Aimé Donna Kelly has been promoted to series regular on Law & Order: SVU. Kelly has played Captain Curry in a recurring role for the past five seasons on the NBC series. 

Truck Dynasty premieres August 12 on Discovery Channel. Florida’s Apocalypse Manufacturing owner Joe Ghattas is a self-made boss in the custom truck industry, known for his bold designs and loyal following that includes hardcore enthusiasts, world-famous rappers, sports superstars, and elite supermodels. Alongside his wife and co-owner Ashley, he designs, fabricates, and sells these outrageous custom creations. No design is too wild for them to build – ranging from an Apocalypse Hellfire with a pull-out mobile kitchen for legendary chef Guy Fieri or an Apocalypse Super Truck with superhero branding for NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal. With the support of his in-laws, who run sales and marketing for the business, Joe is on the brink of breaking through the fiercely competitive marketplace to establish an American auto brand in a category all its own. From a high-water emergency response vehicle built for fire departments to traverse downed palm trees to a ‘Boat Truck’ – an amphibious Jeep that cruises the highway and dives straight into the water – the series showcases next-level creations built to conquer land, water, and everything in between.

The English dub of My Dress-Up Darling season two premieres July 19 on Crunchyroll. Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
