Apple TV+ has renewed Foundation for a fourth season. In season three, The Foundation has become increasingly established far beyond its humble beginnings while the Cleonic Dynasty’s Empire has dwindled. As both of these galactic powers forge an uneasy alliance, a threat to the entire galaxy appears in the fearsome form of a warlord known as “The Mule,” whose sights are set on ruling the universe by use of physical and military force, as well as mind control. It’s anyone’s guess who will win, who will lose, who will live and who will die as Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons and Demerzel play a potentially deadly game of intergalactic chess.

Apple TV+ has renewed Berlin ER for a second season. In season one, managing a chaotic emergency room in the toughest and most overcrowded hospital in Berlin is no small task for the young Dr. Parker, who is seeking a fresh start in the big city after her private life implodes in Munich. When she tries to implement necessary reforms, Dr. Parker is confronted with resistance from the underpaid, ill-equipped and chronically fatigued hospital staff who only survive with an indispensable dose of black humor. But in the face of an increasingly merciless health care system, the battered team must put aside their differences and pull together to save lives.
Adult animated comedy series Alley Cats will premiere on Netflix in 2026. The series boasts a cast that includes Ricky Gervais, Tom Basden, Andrew Brooke, David Earl, Kerry Godliman, Jo Hartley, Diane Morgan, and also featuring Natalie Cassidy and Tony Way. The series follows the trials and tribulations of a group of feral British cats who seek companionship while ruminating about the struggles of everyday life, and features a bold 2D animation style.
Matthew Rhys will star alongside Rachel Brosnahan and Jack Reynor in season two of Presumed Innocent. Season one of the Apple TV+ series starred Jake Gyllenhaal.
Production has begun on a third season of Big Little Lies. The HBO series stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.
CBS has set two music specials for the Fall. A GRAMMY Salute to Earth, Wind & Fire Live: The 21st Night of September will premiere September 21. It will feature special appearances by Stevie Wonder, Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste and Janelle Monáe. A GRAMMY(R) Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl will air October 5. Special guests include Joni Mitchell, Cher, John Legend and SZA.
Prime Video has ordered Bishop too series. The thriller series stars Joel Kinnaman.

He joins the previously announced Freida Pinto, Sarayu Blue, Indraneil Sengupta, Adi Roy, and Iyla Sundarsingh Mckaig. Special show moments have been announced for the 77th Emmy Awards, September 14 on CBS. The special show moments celebrating the anniversaries of some famous past and present television shows with re-creations of their iconic sets include Gilmore Girls: 25th Anniversary set reveal with Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham; SURVIVOR: Jeff Probst 50th season moment; GOLDEN GIRLS: Reba McEntire, Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the show by singing the show’s theme song on a re-creation of its iconic kitchen set; LAW AND ORDER 35th anniversary with key cast members Mariska Hargitay, Tony Goldwyn and Christopher Meloni joined by others from the many L&O franchises; GREY’S ANATOMY 20th anniversary with Eric Dane and Jesse Williams. There will also be an In Memoriam segment featuring a performance by Lainey Wilson and Vince Gill of Gill’s “Go Rest High on That Mountain.” Additional presenters announced include Brad Garrett, Young Mazino, S. Epatha Merkerson, Hunter Schafer, Ray Romano and Ice T.
Production has begun on Grown Ups, an 8-part drama series based on the novel by Marian Keyes. Sarah Greene, Barry Ward, Aisling Bea, Robert Sheehan, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Adrian Dunbar, Sinéad Cusack, Karin Hanczewski, James Agnew, and Katelyn Rose Downey will star.
