Season six of Slow Horses premieres September 16 on Apple TV. The series is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known unaffectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. The new season is adapted from “Joe Country” and “Slough House,” the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s “Slough House” book series. 

Ludwig returns for season two October 13 on BritBox. Picking up from the end of season one, master puzzle-setter John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor (David Mitchell) is now a Crime Scene Consultant, working alongside DCI Russell Carter (Dipo Ola), on ‘impossible’ crimes for the Cambridge Police Authority. No longer having to masquerade as his brother, he’s openly more ‘Ludwig’ than ever – brilliant at solving puzzles but hopeless at everything else. But John’s identical twin brother, James, is still missing, and now that he’s an official employee of the station, John is forbidden from using any police resources to look for his brother or uncover exactly what he was investigating. Of course, John won’t stop and neither will Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin), John’s sister-in-law and wife of his missing brother James. A puzzle needs solving and a husband and father needs bringing home. One masquerade may have ended, but a new one has just begun. 

Season three of The Creep Tapes premieres September 15 on Shudder. The new season continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer (Mark Duplass). Unfortunately, as the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake. 

Notorious Bihl Manor, a tormented mansion in Fremont, Ohio, will undergo A Very Haunted Renovation in HGTV’s eerie new competition series premiering September 15. In the six-episode season, hosted by actress Anna Camp, six daring designers, SK Stokes Kennedy, Patrick Peel, John Ryan, Bershan Shaw, Logan Wright and Diana Vogel, will live inside the uncanny abode for 31 days while completing a top-to-bottom transformation – all in pursuit of a $50,000 dollar cash prize. In each episode, the brave renovators will face elimination challenges that put their nerve, creativity and design skills to the test as they bring the home’s spine-tingling spaces back from the dead. Throughout the season, design expert Michel Smith Boyd will mentor and evaluate each unnerving overhaul alongside esteemed guest judges including: production designer Hannah Beachler, paranormal investigator Jack Osbourne, actor Billy Porter, actress Cassandra Peterson, horror film director Eli Roth and actress LuLu Wilson. 

Olivia Colman is the latest to join the cast of Only Murders in the Building. Coleman joins an ever growing list of British actors who will make an appearance in the sixth season, set in England. 

Netflix’s new unscripted dating format Weight To Date explores love after extreme weight loss. It follows singles during and after extreme weight loss as they navigate dating, identity, and the search for lasting love. 

East of Eden premieres October 1 on Netflix. The gripping new limited series is adapted by Zoe Kazan from John Steinbeck’s masterpiece. Starring Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, and Mike Faist, the multigenerational saga follows the Trask family through generations shaped by ambition, betrayal, and the haunting, indelible antihero Cathy Ames. 

Part 4 of Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope premieres September 18 on Netflix. It’s been one year since the events in Laqua left the Rising Volt Tacklers without a leader and a way forward, but a mysterious pink mist that harms Pokémon spurs Liko and Roy into action! Both Trainers have gained confidence and strength alongside their Pokémon, including Roy’s newest friend, a yellow Lucario capable of Mega Evolution. They’re joined by Dot, an intel-gathering expert, and Ult, a brash young Trainer who considers Roy his rival. Determined to rebuild the Rising Volt Tacklers and fulfill a promise made in Laqua, Liko, Roy, and friends are training harder than ever as they take on the Explorers and forge a new path!

Team Moms: Baseball premieres September 24 on Paramount+. The series follows a group of parents whose sons attend Legendary Prep Academy: a premier baseball training school in Scottsdale, Arizona, dedicated to molding the next generation of star athletes. While the kids compete on the field, the drama unfolds in the stands, where the parents are their children’s biggest champions and each other’s fiercest critics. Friendships are tested, and rivalries emerge; proving that baseball is more than a game, it’s a lifestyle. 

Two seasons of docuseries Circa Survivor premieres August 23, 30 and September 6 on AXS TV, featuring “The Quest for $14.2 Million” and “The Quest for $18.7 Million”. The series offers a rare and unfiltered look into the ever-growing field of sports betting – showcasing all of the unprecedented highs and devastating lows, packed with unforgettable moments, larger-than-life personalities, and the ultimate in high-stakes competition. 

The list of nominees for the 2026 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (VMAs) has been announced, recognizing artists whose work during the last 12 months has pioneered the music industry and been the catalysts of global buzz. The VMAs will broadcast live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27 (7:30-9:30 PM, ET/4:30-6:30 PM, PT) on CBS. Madonna (11) leads this year’s nominees, looking to add to her 19 competitive “VMAs” wins. Taylor Swift (9) vies to add to her 30 Moon Persons. Other top contenders include Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter (7 each), Bruno Mars, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson (5 each), LISA (4), and Shakira and Tate McRae (3 each). First-time nominees receiving multiple nods include GENER8ION and Yung Lean (3 each), and CORTIS and Stella Lefty (2 each). Don Toliver, Kali Uchis, Noah Kahan, Olivia Dean, Sienna Spiro and Tucker Wetmore are among those competing for their first Moon Person. The Best Dance category returns for the first time in seven years, presented by BACARDÍ Rum. 

Additional casting has been announced  for Hidden Heroes: A Descendants Story. Darren Criss joins as Jiminy Cricket from “Pinocchio,” Sherry Cola joins as Yzma from “The Emperor’s New Groove,” James Monroe Iglehart joins as Genie from “Aladdin,” Hugo Ateo joins as Kronk from “The Emperor’s New Groove,” Sean Yves Lessard joins as Lumiere from “Beauty and the Beast” and Dan Bakkedahl joins as Yen Sid from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” in “Fantasia.” The music-and-dance-fueled movie coming to Disney Channel and Disney+ expands the “Descendants” universe and centers on the journey of the unsung heroes behind Disney’s greatest adventures – the sidekicks! Hidden in the center of each fairy tale is a portal to a secret training facility where the descendants of legendary sidekicks are challenged to join the elite ranks of partners to heroes. When a villainous duo comes to Sidekick Academy, a group of fresh recruits must band together – without heroes, without parents – using only their new skills to save the fairytale realm before it’s too late. 

Season two of Made in Korea premieres September 9 on hulu. Baek Kitae’s (Hyun Bin) rise in the KCIA has brought him closer to power, but also the attention of a formidable rival with influence of their own. As political ambitions escalate, a dangerous struggle for control threatens to unravel eveything he’s built. 

One Hundred Years of Solitude: Grand Finale premieres August 26 on Netflix. Following the signing of the armistice, peace still does not reach Macondo. Fearful of Colonel Aureliano Buendía’s threats, the Conservatives plot an assassination attempt that – by a twist of fate – brings Fernanda del Carpio from Bogotá to the town. When she marries Aureliano Segundo, one of the bastard Arcadio’s twin sons, she gives Úrsula Iguarán her first legitimate heirs. 

The new season of Toxic premieres September 15 on ID. The series continues to delve into the dark and twisted side of relationships and the lasting trauma and tragedy that can result from unhealthy relationships. Drawing on her background in investigative journalism and survivor advocacy, Chambers guides viewers through new episodes that unpack the warning signs and impact of toxic love, spotlighting the raw and real stories of those affected by destructive relationship dynamics. 

Season three of Graveyard premieres August 28 on Netflix. The team reunites to uncover the truth behind the mysterious boxes sent to women, embarking on the search for a shocking truth in the new season of Graveyard. Inspector Önem, meanwhile, finds both her team and herself at the center of a dark threat. 

9/11: United We Stand – 25 Years Later premieres September 1 on ABC. The devastating terrorist attacks of 9/11 have been well documented, but the story of what helped people heal in the wake of tragedy remains relatively untold. The new primetime special explores how sports, music, Broadway and comedy helped Americans rediscover joy and begin to heal in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. Through powerful archival footage and deeply personal interviews, the two-hour special reveals how sports, music, Broadway and comedy became unexpected sources of comfort, connection and hope after one of the darkest days in American history. As New York City and the country searched for a way forward, these shared experiences on the field, on the stage or on television restored a sense of community, resilience and optimism that brought people together. The special shines a light on the people, places and moments that shaped the nation’s recovery in the days, weeks and months after Sept. 11 and features firsthand interviews with the athletes, entertainers, journalists, first responders and cultural figures who were instrumental in our collective healing. Participants include MLB Hall of Famer and New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, comedian and actor Pete Davidson, music icon Jon Bon Jovi, comedian and The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, GMA co-anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, ABC News chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz, Billy Crystal, Matthew Broderick, Jimmy Fallon, NHL Hall of Famer Mark Messier and New York Giants great Victor Cruz, among others.
