Barbershop premieres February 10, 2027 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. Travis “Trav” Walker (Jermaine Fowler) returns to Chicago hoping to honor his grandfather’s legacy at the iconic Calvin’s barbershop, but the shop has changed, and so has the city. As Trav struggles to find his place among a new crew of barbers and loyal customers, Calvin’s remains what it’s always been, a place for sharp fades, sharp opinions, and a community that always has something to say. Season two of the series adds Tommy Lee Jones and Betty Gilpin to the cast.
Ted: The Animated Series premieres December 17 on Peacock. It is a sequel to the beloved “Ted” and “Ted 2” films. This series reunites Seth MacFarlane, who reprises his role as the voice of Ted, with his big screen castmates: Mark Wahlberg, as the voice of Ted’s best friend, John; Amanda Seyfried, as the voice of John’s wife, Sam; and Jessica Barth as Ted’s wife, Tami-Lynn. Picking up twelve years after the conclusion of the last movie, John and his thunder-buddy Ted are neighbors, both with families of their own and dead-end jobs. Follow these two lovable stoners as they enable each other’s bad ideas about marriage, parenting and the challenges of adult life.

Small Prophets premieres October 7 on Apple TV. The series is a comic tale of the eccentric Michael Sleep (Pearce Quigley) who, since his darling Clea disappeared seven years ago, has lived a very ordinary life. He works in a DIY store, visits his dad Brian (Sir Michael Palin) and hopes for Clea to return. One day Brian shares an old recipe involving rainwater, horse manure and more than a little alchemy. With recipe in hand, Michael sets out (albeit with some skepticism) to create homunculi – magical spirits that can predict the future – in the hope they have the answer to his burning question: “will I ever see Clea again?”
Production has wrapped on the fourth and final season of The Night Agent. The final season will premiere on Netflix in 2027.
The seventh and final season of Miss Scarlet premieres November 29 on thee PBS app or PBS Masterpiece on Prime Video. It will also premiere on MASTERPIECE Mystery! January 17 on PBS. The CW Network and National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) announced a new multi-year media rights agreement for The CW Network to broadcast the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Beginning in Fall 2027, The CW will be the exclusive multiplatform home for the final seven races of the season, including the world’s biggest drag race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, as well as the full six-race Countdown to the Championship playoffs. NHRA will make its CW debut on Monday, September 6, 2027, at the world’s biggest drag race, the prestigious Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The race will kick-off a seven-race stretch broadcasting eliminations on the network, giving the Countdown to the Championship playoffs its biggest spotlight yet. Race fans will be able to watch NHRA action on The CW Network on broadcast television, as well as stream them live via CW Sports on The ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited subscription.
Brazilian series The Gift of Deceit premieres October 28 on Netflix. The first four episodes of Body Language by CNN will premiere on October 8 on the CNN app. Four additional episodes will premiere in November.
