Fans of the multi award-winning and Emmy-nominated web series The Bay are in for a treat when the sudser’s Chapter 12 premieres on Thursday, May 1 with extended length webisodes and some hot new cast members. Joining the cast are popular soap veterans Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy, Days of Our Lives), Judi Evans (Adrienne, Days of Our Lives), Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Sean Kanan (Deacon, The Bold and the Beautiful).

The edgy new season of The Bay features Moss as former Bay City District Attorney, John Blackwell and Evans as his wife Katherine Blackwell. The two are back in town to reconnect with their son, Damien Blackwell (Erik Fellows), but as usual all may not be as it seems. What else might this power couple have in mind?

Kanan replaces Brody Hutzler (ex-Patrick, Days of Our Lives) in role of Press Secretary Kenneth Allen. Darbo joins the cast as Mickey, who runs Patrick’s Roadhouse. Also be on the look out for a special guest appearance by Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum, Oz the Great and Powerful).

In addition to the new faces, the series will also feature the exciting returns of fan favorites Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny, Mad Men) as Capt. Elliot Sanders, Martha Madison (ex-Belle, Days of Our Lives) as Marly Garrett-Nelson and Ignacio Serricchio (Bones, The Ghost Whisper) as Manny Ramos.

Chapter 12 of The Bay begins streaming Thursday, May 1 via the Blip and Roku networks and services.

For those who need a crash course on the series and its characters, I recommend watching Confessions of the Garretts, Confessions of Bay City Part 1, and Confessions of Bay City Part 2.
