Jessica Tuck (ex-Megan, OLTL) cast on “Days of Our Lives” as Marsha Woods.
Now that would-be teenage father Chad’s (Casey Deidrick) baby mama drama has been solved, he’s had a mother of his own cast! Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Jessica Tuck (ex-Megan, OLTL) has been cast as Chad’s mother, Marsha, on Days of Our Lives. Tuck’s onscreen husband, David Leisure (D.A. Woods; ex-Roger, Y&R), first showed up in town last summer. Look for Tuck to first surface as the D.A.’s wife on April 7th.
Soap fans will remember Tuck from her stint on One Life to Live as Vicki’s (Erika Slezak) daughter Megan from 1988-1992. Tuck was set to make a brief return to One Life for the show’s 40th Anniversary two years ago as Vicki’s celestial guide through heaven, but unfortunately she was forced to drop out due to a scheduling conflict. The show reworked the story at the last minute with Erin Torpey (ex-Jessica, OLTL) as Megan’s namesake (a.k.a. Jessica’s miscarried baby all grown up) guided Vicki through the afterlife when she “died.”
Tuck has previously appeared on Sunset Beach. True Blood fans may recognize Tuck from her role as vampire spokesperson Nan Flanagan. Tuck has also appeared in Criminal Minds, E.R., Saving Grace, the High School Musical movies and Judging Amy.
