FRANCO AND JASON DANCE
Maxie becomes freaked out when Franco pays her a visit with a gift. Jason and Dante’s lead dries up when they meet Karen Anderson, Franco’s hippie mom and she denies knowing him. Jason learns that Maxie has had encounter with Franco. Meanwhile, Franco arrives at his mother’s home and is questioned by her as to what he has done. Maxie tells Jason all the details about her visit with Franco, including that he brought her 66 roses. Franco tries to explain to his mother that his motives and actions are justified in the name of art. He believes he can shape reality through his greatest masterpiece. Carly is next to have an encounter with Franco, he visits her at the Metro Court restaurant. Jason, Dante and Spinelli pursue additional leads on Franco, trying to find a pattern to his madness. Franco sets up his headquarters at the old Lockland Mansion on County Road 66. Franco invites his art dealer, Wilhelm (guest star and Oscar nominee Bruce Davison) over to discuss his upcoming masterpiece. Wanting alone time, Dante and Lulu turn their cell phones off and make love in the shower. While Jax and Josslyn enjoy the park, Franco arrives.
SONNY’S WEB OF LIES
Johnny saves Kristina from the car blast in the nick of time because he notices something wrong with the car. Kristina is rushed to the hospital. Michael overhears Sonny admitting he was responsible for Johnny’s car exploding. When confronted by Alexis, Sonny lies and tells her he had nothing to do with the car bomb that almost killed their daughter. Claire tells Johnny there is no evidence linking Sonny to the car bomb. Johnny comes to Alexis’ home and ends his relationship with Kristina. Olivia demands to know the truth from Sonny. Claire and Lucky question Sonny, who keeps up the innocent act but both Lucky and Claire believe Sonny’s guilty. Sonny lays down the law with Kristina about steering clear of Johnny. Olivia and Johnny share one last night together. Ethan threatens to walk out of his deal with Johnny if he retaliates against Sonny. Lucky warns Claire about Sonny. Alexis tells Sonny that if he sleeps with Claire he should use birth control. Michael and Sonny discuss hiding the truth about the car bomb.
A HUSBAND’S REGRETFUL NIGHT
Patrick and Lisa have sex and afterwards, he is consumed with guilt. When Patrick comes home, he finds Robin has returned from her trip. Robin expresses how much she has missed him and apologizes for her previous behavior. Patrick is overwhelmed with guilt about his one night with Lisa. Steve suspects Lisa and Patrick had sex and warns Lisa to keep things professional. Feeling the urge to be with her husband, Robin tries to lure Patrick into the supply closet, but Patrick freezes up.
ELSEWHERE IN PORT CHARLES
Jax admits to Skye he doesn’t want to divorce Carly. Carly feigns casual at Jax and Skye’s pretend love affair. Jax and Carly dance around each other trying to make the other jealous. Shirley opens up to Liz about her past and in hearing Shirley’s life story, Liz yearns for what she had with Lucky. She goes to see him, but gets a big surprise. Lucky tells Liz she needs to let go of the past and that the two of them are over. Spinelli makes a decision about his future with Maxie. Liz calls Maxie a whore after seeing her kiss Lucky.

Encore Episode (January 29, 2010) – Dominic reveals that he is a cop and goes to arrest Sonny. Sonny shoots Dominic as Olivia reveals that Dominic is Sonny’s own son on Monday, July 5.
