Kristian Alfonso Re-Ups With 'Days of our Lives'

Soap vet and fan favorite Kristian Alfonso has signed a new contract with NBC’s ‘Days of our Lives.’

The Hollywood Reporter broke the story earlier this evening. “I love my Days family, I love my job and I love our fans,” said the actress. Alfonso’s new contract should end rumors of the actress’ departure.

The actress has played Hope Williams Brady since the character was rapidly aged in 1984.

My Take: Congratulations. Hopefully DAYS will be able to strike a new deal with co-star Peter Reckell as well. The last thing the show needs is more fan favorites heading out the door.
