Former Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes, joined the cast of Arrow as Roy Harper just a few months ago, has been promoted to a series regular for season two.
Zap2it’s Carina Adly MacKenzie first broke news of Colton Haynes promotion yesterday afternoon. The 24-year old actor told Us Weekly he’s happy, but anxious about what’s next to come. “I’m excited to be joining the Arrow team but not excited to be training in the gym to keep up with Stephen [Amell].”
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim previewed last week at Payleyfest that fans would see more of Roy later in the season. His transition to Green Arrow’s sidekick Speedy is likely to be a major arc next season.
