All My Children alum Natalie Hall (ex-Colby) has landed a co-starring role in the pilot for The CW’s sci-fi drama, Oxygen.
The series revolves around an epic romance that ignites between a human girl, Emery (Aimee Teegarden), and an alien boy, Roman (Matt Lanter), when he and eight others of his kind (The Orion 9) are integrated into a suburban high school 10 years after they and hundreds of others landed on Earth and were immediately consigned to an internment camp, where they’ve been imprisoned ever since.
Natalie Hall will play Taylor, a teenage human girl and “queen b” of her school. She takes an interest in new girl Emery, but her new friend’s kindness towards the Orions may make it difficult to maintain that friendship.
She joins new cast members Matt Lanter (90210), Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights), Titus Makin Jr. (Glee) and Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries).
Hall is most known for her role as Colby Chandler on the ABC soap opera All My Children. She was cast in 2009 and played the role until the series’ cancelation in 2011. The 25-year old actress also had a recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars during the series’ second season.
The Good Wife’s Meredith Averill will pen the CBS Television Studios pilot and executive produce the drama with Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol).
