Days of our Lives star Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) was bursting with excitement on the red carpet before the Emmys. “It’s a fabulous, wonderful night,” she exclaimed with her usual happy demeanor. The veteran actress had a lot to celebrate, as co-stars Peggy McCay, Arianne Zuker, Chandler Massey and Freddie Smith were all nominated, in addition to the soaps’ nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.
“There are so many good actresses and actors on our show, so it’s nice to see some get nominated.”
We asked Rogers if there was anything coming up for her character and she joked that she wasn’t sure. “I’ll ask the writers when I see them later tonight.”
