It’s almost time for cycle five of The Voice and the show is bringing back its original coaching panel after Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green sat out the spring round to focus on other projects. The two will rejoin Adam Levine and Blake Shelton when the completion returns Sept. 23.
On Tuesday, NBC released a new promo that shows the original four judges reuniting and showing off their voices. While it is a bit on the campy side (walking on water, really?), the video is a fun reminder of what makes this show special: the coaches never take themselves too seriously.
And for those who fell in love with new coaches Shakira and Usher this spring, fear not. The two will rejoin Levine and Shelton when for cycle six in the spring.
