Soap stars Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad) and Chandler Massey (ex-Will) have been keeping busy since departing NBC’s Days of our Lives earlier this year. Their rock band, And Still I Rise, just released a cover of Miley Cyrus’ #1 single “Wrecking Ball”.
Founded in 2013, the Bay Area band consists of Casey Deidrick (Vocals), Stephen Haynes (Guitar/Vocals), Chandler Massey (Keys/Vocals), Michael Gross (Guitar/Vocals) and Josh Bonaparte (Bass/Vocals). The music video is quite amusing – the guys’ night of fun quickly turns crazy after when their place is invaded by a ghost. Most importantly though, the cover is really good. Great vocals from all the guys and the well placed ‘metal’ tinges take up a notch or two.
