‘Arrow’ Preview: ‘Heir to the Demon’ Brings Lance Family Drama

Cate Cameron/The CW

Things continue to go from bad to worse for Laurel on Arrow. In the last episode, she learned that not only has she lost her job, but there’s a strong possibility that she’s going to lose her right to practice law altogether because there is a motion to have her disbarred.

Laurel attempted to drown her sorrows at the club, but Thea and Oliver sent her home in a cab to sleep it off. But it seems like it wasn’t just alcohol in her system. There was a man sitting at the bar watching her and it appeared that he slipped something into her drink, which is most likely what caused Laurel to pass out on the floor after seeing her sister standing over her.

Heir to the Demon” finds Sara back in present day Starling City, but the family reunion might not be a happy one. A powerful member of the League of Assassins has followed her there and has kidnapped Dinah in an effort to convince Sara that she needs to leave her family behind and rejoin the league.

Meanwhile, the episode’s flashbacks will give us a glimpse of what things were like before Sara boarded the yacht with Oliver. The CW has released the first clip from the episode and it’s almost surreal to see the Lance family happy or mostly happy, considering Sara is secretly texting her sister’s boyfriend.

Arrow airs Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 8/7c on The CW.

  • I’m really looking forward to seeing Sara in this week’s episode. I’ve missed her! I just love her and Quentin Lance. Hopefully I’ll get some great scenes with the two of them.
