Cam figures he can kill at least 3 more people before anybody gets suspicious.
I don’t advocate murder, but I was OK with Cam letting Ste drown. LOL…
I guess Lockie’s wallet is going to come back to haunt Cam one day when someone finds it floating in the river. But I’m sad that they killed Lockie off. He was an appealing character and he was a great love interest for John Paul, certainly better that JP’s current one. Leela is the dumbest person on the whole world to help Cam with his lies. How many times has he gotten caught in a big lie and has some dumb ass excuse until he gets caught in another lie? Didn’t she do the same thing when he was suspected of murdering her parents? And like Lockie, he did kill them too.
So that’s three people Cam has murdered, plus attempting to kill Ste? With Nico, Lindsay and Silas around, that’s four serial murderers in one small town. A bit much don’t you think?
Harry’s not just a pretty face, giving Ste the idea to only pretend to believe Cam long enough to get proof of his evil. Sadly, Ste is an idiot so it probably won’t work out.
I loved that scene between Harry and Tony where they made peace and Harry vowed to help him. I always hated Harry turning against Tony because of that worthless POS Ste. I hope their detente lasts. I’m going guess that Harry whores himself out to James to get the money for his father? I like it. Oddly enough, James and Harry have chemistry. I wouldn’t mind seeing it go past the client/rent boy stage into something more.
Speaking of parents and their children, I also enjoyed the scenes with Marnie and James. He’s an evil bastard, but he loves his mother. Those scenes, especially in regards to Marnie’s issues with depression added a lot of depth to characters who could be shallow and superficial.
You know, Scott’s not so bad after all. Maybe it’s because Sinead is gone and he’s not helping her with her dumb ass schemes anymore, but I don’t find him as annoying as I used to. And I also felt bad for Scott after John Paul treated him so poorly. Scott’s an idiot, but I guess he means well (despite the poisoning and arson attempts).
Still, I don’t think he’s good enough for John Paul and I think the sooner they are broken up the better. Frankly, I think JP knows that he and Scott aren’t compatible, but he’s A) desperate for love and B) feels guilty for feeling he’s too good for Scott and being irritated by him. The upshot is, I want them both to find love, just not with each other.
I’m really interested in seeing how the reveal about Sally being JP’s biological father plays out. I’m enjoying the story and I pray Hollyoaks doesn’t ruin it. Unfortunately, this this show, that’s too much to hope for.

Iolo looking miserable, which a good day for him.
Man, both Tyler and Iolo are looking gorgeous in their scenes together. I’ve always liked that blue shirt on Iolo and Tyler’s biceps are delicious in the red shirt he had on. I appreciate Tyler’s concern for Iolo and that scene where Tyler insisted Iolo accept his help was nicely acted, but I still think this relationship is being rushed.
They’ve got nice chemistry and like I said, they certainly look good together. I just want the show to let it breathe a bit and let us see them falling for each other rather than using plot points to force them into it.
So after weeks and weeks of dithering and saying goodbye, Sion and Gwyneth decide not to go. All that plot that absolutely went nowhere. Humph.
I think Chester should have been kicked out of school for lying about Ffion. Personally I think his accusing her of sexual abuse was heinous and unforgivable, so were Britt and Garry’s roles in it. They all need to pay. And I bet Ffion ends up regretting showing any of them a bit of kindness. Lord knows they would never do the same if the situations were reversed.
But maybe I’m just not a believer of turning the other cheek.
So what do you want to bet that Robbie winds up not leaving and decides to stay in town for Gary? I mean, them insisting that neither of them are looking for a relationship guarantees that, don’t you think? Whatever happens, I just hope it leads to some interesting drama.
Gay storytelling has always been a strength on this show, but it’s fallen by the wayside since Will left. Robbie simply isn’t as compelling of a character as Will, who had the depth and personality to dominate this show for a couple of years.
I still marvel at the number of stories and screen time that revolved around Will. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gay character get that kind of treatment, save maybe the gays on Hollyoaks and Emmerdale, but with much better writing. Let’s hope Gary makes things at least a little interesting. His ties to that gross Caitlin are not a positive sign though.

In some casting news for Hollyoaks, it was announced last week that out actor, Andrew Hayden-Smith, will be joining the show as the new DS in town. He’ll be investigating the Patrick Blake case. Some may remember him from last year’s Cucumber-Banana series.
For the “Tom Pepper” fans out there, he’ll be seen on EastEnders next week, May 23 and 24. .. Based on what’s about to go down at Beale Manor, Tom will more than likely be called into action as Walford’s favorite paramedic, but still, I love a man in uniform…. If it were up to me, I’d like to see Tom at the Vic flirting with Johnny again when Bobby enters looking for help.
EastEnders: The bit with Mick & Linda was funny but was part of the larger plot point of getting Belinda back to Albert Square. Belinda in Linda’s tacky dress was funny, too.
Emmerdale: I suspect that we’re in for more “faux drama for Robert and Aaron” because the show doesn’t seem to know what to do with them now. Heaven forbid they should just be happy and enjoy one another’s company for a spell. The presence of Liv eliminates that possibility. As for Robert trying and trying to please Aaron, I recall that Jackson tried to make him happy, too (pre-train crash) to no avail – and Jackson hadn’t killed, plotted to kill or blackmailed anyone. Would love to see Robert move on and leave Aaron to stew in his misery.
People of the Valley: Last week definitely saw an acceleration of the Iolo/Tyler pairing, but I also wondered if Tyler was trying to hard because he felt guilty about Iolo’s attack. Spoilers suggest I’m wrong. I, too, wanted to enjoy the lead-up more because the two actors have a remarkable chemistry and the flirtation could be wildly entertaining. Since they are already roommates, though, I think the pacing is not too unrealistic since they spend a lot of time together. Oh….Chester is a bad boy, for sure, but I’d still pay money to run my fingers through his hair.

Robert tied Aaron to a radiator, pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot him. How on earth can Aaron EVER trust the guy again?
Robron was nothing more than a squalid dirty secret affair that erupted into violence murder & mayhem.
The ONLY reason the show has continued with it is because they got greedy about the social media attention the show was getting and the endless multi voting from the m/m shipping fandom that goes along with it.
Using the childhood rape by Aaron’s father as a means to re-unite Aaron with his abusive boyfriend was beyond being narratively sick.
The current narrative for Robert & Aaron is all over the place – because the show still wants to feed off the attention from the shippers, but is also aware that there is feedback & negativity surrounding the “fanfiction” direction this pairing has taken from a general audience.
There has NEVER been any character depth or definition brought to these characters – the show has been as vague as they can – but always left enough room for shippers to see what they want to see.
Its laughable that in almost all the show rhetoric and Cast interviews, they continually repeat the mantra the Robert makes Aaron happy.

Did I blink and miss that scene – during this “love-story” Aaron has been an accessory to manslaughter, lied to his closest family, self-harmed, spent time in prison and threatened to pull the plug on Robert’s life-support <<<<<<<and THIS is what makes Aaron happy????
Robron is a seriously toxic relationship – and there's NO amount of dialogue between them can repair the storyline as its already been told (at least, not if you want to remain in the realms of integrity rather than fly off into gay fanfiction land)
Robert now has to be completely neutered as a character if the show wants to continue with this storyline.
How can they possibly tell a huge storyline about how Aaron has been affected for his entire life at the hands of an abuser father – and yet still peddle a relationship with an abusive boyfriend as a love-story and claim this makes him happy?
Re: Eastenders. The actress who plays Peggy apparently wanted to retire for good (she’s made a few pop-in appearances since she left the show) and she’s the one who requested the door be permanently closed on Peggy.
Also, Anthony, have you seen the RUMORS that “General Hospital” is gearing up to kill off Lucas?
I don’t get what’s going on with Aaron and Robert. Robert wants Aaron to trust him and for Aaron to do what Robert thinks is best, and Aaron is wary of Robert given his history of schemes and manipulations. I guess they could be a couple that wants to get back together because they had good times and it feels familiar but ultimately either cannot or do not want to put in the effort to fix what went wrong between them. In any case, I hope that they don’t go through an endless cycle of fights the way Ste and JP did on Hollyoaks.
