Best known for her role as the iconic hero Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter will play the President of the United States during Season 2 of Supergirl. She’ll first appear in the third episode and recur throughout the season reports THR. The series has been boosting its cast ahead of the network move, including Teen Wolf alum Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, and five new roles including a male lead and Lena Luther.
Supergirl is Carter’s first television role since 2013, where she guest-starred as herself on CBS’ Two and a Half Men. The actress starred as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman for three seasons from 1975-1999 in the series Wonder Woman.
Carter is accomplished singer who has performed to rave reviews before sell-out crowds from the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC to Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, also does voice acting work for video games, most recently Fallout 4.
Supergirl will make its CW debut on Monday, October 10 at 8:00 pm.
