The CW is adding another major villain for Supergirl’s second season. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys star Kevin Sorbo will have a multi-episode arc as a mysterious new antagonist on the superhero drama.
Details surrounding his first appearance and the name of his character are being kept under wraps.
“Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join us on Supergirl,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg in a statement.
Sorbo is the second villain cast this week. Former Lois Lane and Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher also joined the cast in a yet-to-be-named villain.
In addition to his starring role in Hercules, Sorbo also top lined Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda. He’s also guest starred in numerous TV series including Xena: Warrior Princess, Two and a Half Men, The O.C., Psych, Hawaii Five-O and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.
Supergirl airs Mondays on The CW.
