Soap veteran Roger Howarth has signed a new deal with ABC’s General Hospital, reports Soap Opera Digest. Plus what fan fave is returning and who is the All My Children alum joining the cast?

The actor’s negotiations with the network had reached an impasse per an early May report from Daytime Confidential. At the time a rep for the show had no comment.

Roger Howarth joined General Hospital in 2012 as his One Life to Live character Todd Manning. After being forced to vacate the role on GH due to legal issues with Prospect Park in 2013, he rejoined the cast as Robert “Franco” Frank. The polarizing character is currently involved in a front burner romance with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

Bradford Anderson Returns

Bradford Anderson will reprise his role as Damien Spinelli. No word on the length of his stay. The actor was previously set to appear for Maxie and Nathan’s January wedding but was replaced by former Days of our Lives star Blake Berris due to filming commitments with Showtime’s Homeland.

All My Children Alum Jennifer Bassey Coming to Port Charles

Jennifer Bassey, known for her role as All My Children’s Marian Chandler, is reportedly heading to GH. No word if she’ll be reprising her AMC role or playing a new character.
