Paul is disturbed when he overhears John discussing poisoning Steve during a private phone call. Unsure of how to deal with what he’s learned, and hoping he’s wrong, he opens up to Will about his feelings regarding his father. Will vows to help Paul get to the bottom about what’s going on with John.

With Steve’s condition worsening, Kayla convinces him to seek medical help for his loss in vision. Dr. Shah diagnoses Steve with an unknown autoimmune disease that’s rapidly decreasing his vision. Of course, no one is aware that John, Steve’s friend and business partner, is actually the one responsible! After sharing the dire news about his health with Kayla and later John, the Johnsons rally about to find the best course of action. Meanwhile, John’s deception is beginning to take its toll on him as he lashes out upon hearing about Steve’s issues. Why is John hurting Steve?
