We takes a closer look at a Star Wars-inspired jacket based on Star Wars Rebels‘ Ahsoka Tano from Her Universe. Check out photos and a wonderful review from TV Source Magazine’s Spencer Barrett.

“You don’t have to carry a sword to be powerful. Some leaders’ strength is inspiring greatness in others.”

Ahsoka Tano has worked her way up to a fan-favorite character among Star Wars fans – but this wasn’t always the case. First appearing as Anakin Skywalker’s padawan in the Clone Wars animated movie and series, the character received a less-than-enthusiastic reception from fans.

However, as the years went by, that all changed and Ahsoka has become beloved by fans across the – thanks in part to her voice actress, Ashley Eckstein. Ashley’s clothing company Her Universe, a groundbreaking fangirl fashion company and lifestyle brand, recently debuted an Ahsoka-inspired faux leather jacket and we got our hands on one to give fans a closer look.

The first thing to know is the jacket design, while definitely inspired by Ahsoka’s outfit in Star Wars Rebels, features subtle design details to make it suitable for everyday wear. This is one of the major reasons we’re fans of this jacket and the Her Universe brand: their clothes blend fandom and functionality together in a unique, fashionable way.

One of our favorite design details is the blue and white satin lining on the inside of the jacket; as any Star Wars fan will tell you, this is a nod to the colors of Ahsoka’s Lekku – and the special touches don’t stop there. A faint Fulcrum symbol is embroidered on the back to add yet another layer to this fabulous jacket.

The Ahsoka Jacket is now available to order at www.heruniverse.com.

Star Wars Rebels returns for its final episodes Monday, February 19th, 2018 on DisneyXD.
