Congrats to the Bughead fans for their win!
With just over 55,000 votes cast, fans of Riverdale’s Jughead and Betty turned out in droves to vote for their favorite mystery solving couple winning with 58% of the voting total. Vote totals were just shy of 32,000 and everyone who bruised their fingers with their non-stop voting should take a very well deserved rest!
While for the majority of the poll it seemed like Bughead’s lead would go uncontested, let the record show that in the last four hours of the poll being open, Barchie fans made a last ditch push and began significantly making a dent in to it. Their combined efforts brought them from 37% to 42% and had the poll been open longer, it was sure to have turned in to a nail biter. Barchie fans ended this contest with a little over 23,000 votes cast. Again, for all the fans who voted repeatedly or joined in that last push, you too deserve a nice long nap.
Polls like this one are all in good fun. It can get incredibly competitive and adrenaline inducing but it’s just something for fans to show their support and passion for their favorite people and a bonding experience. This is going to be a long hiatus and we should have some fun while we wait.
