The CW’s superhero series Black Lightning may have come to an end last season after four seasons, but today Funko announced they are releasing a line of Black Lightning Pop! figures.
Included in the lineup are our favorite heroes suited up, Jefferson Pierce aka Black Lightning, Jennifer Pierce aka Lightning and Anissa Pierce aka Thunder. Also included is series villain Tobias Whale.
Funko had previously released a 3000 piece limited edition Black Lightning figure in 2020 for San Diego Comic Con which sold out instantly. I tried hard to get the original figure, but wasn’t able to check out in time and stung still to this day. Now with an entire lineup of characters from the series, all common releases, it should make all fans happy to finally get these underrated and underappreciated heroes in their collections. I know I am happy that I can add these great characters to my Arrowverse collection! Hopefully a version of Javicia Leslie’s Batwoman figure isn’t too far behind!
The series Black Lightning may be over, but Black Lightning himself will be making an appearance in the upcoming new season of The Flash on The CW!
