Netflix’s Swedish teen drama Young Royals has been renewed for season 2. The series follows Prince Wilhelm as he adjusts to life at his prestigious new boarding school, but following his heart proves more challenging than anticipated.

SNL’s first four shows have been given hosts and musical guests. Owen Wilson kicks off the season premiere October 2 with musical guest Kacey Musgraves. Kim Kardashian West and Halsey will host and perform on October 9. Rami Malek will host October 16 with Young Thug as musical guest. October 23 will have Jason Sudeikis as host with Brandi Carlile as musical guest

Tom Bergeron is set to host the upcoming Tic-Tac-Dough revival series being developed at NBC. Bergeron previously hosted Hollywood Squares, America’s Funniest Home Videos, and Dancing with the Stars.

Colin Donnell is set to star in Peacock’s upcoming crime drama Irreverent. Also cast are PJ Byrne, Kylie Bracknell, Briallen Clarke, Tegan Stimson, Ed Oxenbould, Wayne Blair, Russell Dykstra, Calen Tassone and Jason Wilder. The series follows a criminal from Chicago who bungles a heist and is forced to hide out in a small Australian reef town in Far North Queensland posing as the new church Reverend.

Netflix has released the first official trailer for the upcoming documentary Britney Vs. Spears. The documentary covers the ongoing legal battle Britney Spears is going through to free herself from a conservatorship. Britney Vs. Spears premieres September 28. 

Paramount+ has released the first trailer for the upcoming fifth season of SEAL Team. The series will make its season premiere on CBS for four episode before officially transitioning to a Paramount+ original series. The four episode run on CBS kicks off October 10. 

HBO Max’s upcoming new comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls from Mindy Kaling will premiere November 18. Three episodes will release the first and second week, with the third week wrapping up the season with the final two episodes. 

NBC has picked up their pilot The Endgame to series. The bank heist drama stars Morena Baccarin and Ryan Michelle Bathe along with Kamal Angelo Bolden, Costa Ronin, Noah Bean, Jordan Johnson-Hinds and Mark D. Espinoza.No word on if the series will be for midseason or for the following season. The other pilot ordered in April Getaway is still awaiting word. 

Whoopi Goldberg has signed a four year deal with ABC keeping her on The View through Season 28. Season 25 recently kicked off and has been celebrating the past 25 years of the groundbreaking daytime talk show including having former hosts back as guest co-hosts. Goldberg has been with The View for 15 seasons. 

Rashida Jones and David Oyelowo have been cast in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Wool. The series is an adaptation of Hugh Howey’s dystopian novels.

Disney+ is developing House Of Secrets based on the book series of the same name from Chris Columbus. Columbus previously worked as a director on the Harry Potter film series. The series follows three siblings who move into a new home formerly owned by an author. They find out the house is magical and get trapped inside, travelling through the universes the author created in his novels.

Leslie Bibb, Rachel Bloom, Michael McKean and Krista Marie Yu have been cast in Steve Levitan’s comedy pilot at hulu. They join previously the cast Keegan-Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville and Calum Worthy. 

Showtime has ordered its Let the Right One In pilot to series. The ten episode vampire drama series stars Demián Bichir. The cast also includes Anika Noni Rose, Grace Gummer, Madison Taylor Baez, Kevin Carroll, Ian Foreman and Jacob Buster. The series was inspired by the Swedish novel and film of the same name. The series was originally set up at A&E before moving to TNT and finally landing at Showtime. 

CBS’s news streaming platform is changing its name from ‘CBSN’ to ‘CBS News’. The change comes as the network tries to brand all its news programming into a cohesive brand. 

Big Sky has set some more of their recurring characters for the upcoming second season. Joining the ABC drama are Vinny Chhibber, Romy Rosemont, Ryan O’Nan, Michael Malarkey and David Meunier.  Patrick Gallagher who recurred in season one is also set to return.

Netflix has ordered a new limited series All The Light We Cannot See. The four episode series is an adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller book of the same name. 

Fox’s upcoming midseason series The Cleaning Lady has cast Shiva Negar and Jay Mohr in recurring roles. The series follows a woman who comes to the US and finds herself becoming a cleaning lady for the mob. The series is based on an Argentinean drama. 

Netflix has acquired Roald Dahl Story Company. Netflix will now have the rights to classic stories like Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The BFG. Previously Netflix’s deal with the company gave them rights to animated versions of 16 stories. With the accession, now they can adapt live action also.

Hightown returns for a second season on Starz October 17. The official trailer for the new season is out now. 

Apple TV+’s upcoming science fiction series Invasion premieres October 22. We have our first look at the trailer for the ten episode season. 

Netflix announced a brand new adult animated series titled Adventure Beast. The series follows a brave zoologist, his spunky niece and anxious assistant as they explore the world while saving wild beasts. The series premieres October 22.
