Paramount+ has released the trailer for the upcoming second season of Star Trek: Picard. The ten episode season premieres March 3. The new season takes Jean-Luc Picard and his crew on a bold and exciting new journey: into the past. Picard must enlist friends both old and new to confront the perils of 21st century Earth in a desperate race against time to save the galaxy’s future – and face the ultimate trial from one of his greatest foes. Whoopi Goldberg will reprise her beloved role as Guinan from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Peacock’s Joe vs Carole is based on the Wondery podcast “Joe Exotic” and stars John Cameron Mitchell and Kate McKinnon. The series centers on Carole Baskin, a big cat enthusiast, who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit. She sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous. It premieres March 3.

Crunchyroll’s upcoming new animated series FreakAngels premieres January 27. All nine episodes will premiere that day. The series takes place in a world where six years ago, the world “ended” in a single, apocalyptic event, trapping Great Britain behind a mysterious dome of purple energy. London’s last neighborhood has persevered thanks to the protection of the “FreakAngels” — a small group of psychically-powered twenty-three-year-olds. Bravo’s new series Kandi & The Gang premieres March 6. The series follows Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker as they run an ever-evolving restaurant empire. Their Southern-eatery, OLG, named after the ‘Old Lady Gang’ consisting of Kandi’s mom, Mama Joyce, and Aunts Nora and Bertha, is busier than ever. The restaurant has been a fan-favorite with lines down the block and classic Southern dishes, but peeling back the curtains on this family-owned and operated restaurant reveals that mixing business and relatives can sometimes create a recipe for tension.
Disney Channel has renewed animated series Big City Greens for a fourth season. The new order of episodes will bring the show over 100 episodes. Additionally, a Big City Greens movie musical has been ordered. The third season is set to premiere on Disney Channel February 12.
Restaurant Rivals: Irvine vs. Taffer will premiere on Discovery+ March 3. Robert Irvine and Jon Taffer help save failing businesses in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Now, these larger-than-life personalities face off for the first time in the new three-episode series. Each episode, they will create a new menu and make improvements to the restaurant and staff within 24 hours before a head-to-head dining service determines the winner. Each restaurant is judged on select criteria by a group of guests dining at both establishments, including quality of food, atmosphere, and service.
HBO Max’s new game show About Last Night is set to premiere February 10. The series hosted by Ayesha and Stephen Curry, invites three celebrity couples to go head-to-head in relationship trivia and games, competing to see who knows their partner best. The final couple will have the chance to compete in a bonus round against the Currys as they compete for an additional donation of their choice.
Showtime’s docuseries exploring the history of race everything’s gonna be all white will premiere February 11. The three part series explores the history of race in America from the perspective of people of color. From the ever-shifting classifications of racial identity, to the generational effects of racism on housing, education and healthcare, to the singular fight of Indigenous populations to reclaim their land from constant encroachment. Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Dr. Nell Irvin Painter, Jemele Hill, Amanda Seales, Favianna Rodriguez, Tamika Mallory, Styles P, Margaret Cho, Dr. Nick Estes, and others will dissect the many causal effects of race-based decisions and policies on people of color.
Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, Paul Raci and Jen Tullock are all set to recur on the second season of HBO’s Perry Mason. Shea Whigham who recurred in the first season will also return for the new season.

Fareed Zakaria will host a new series for CNN+. Flashpoints with Fareed Zakaria will see Zakaria use his insightful expertise to decode the backstories of the power dynasties, revolutions, spy missions, missed opportunities, and history-shaping assassinations to help viewers understand how the world’s most dangerous people and places have arrived at transformational tipping points. The series will premiere later in 2022.
Animated series Totally Spies! has been renewed for a seventh season. The series ran from 2011-2013 for six seasons and followed three girls from Beverly Hills who became secret agents.

Discovery+ and OWN’s Profiled: The Black Man is a four part docuseries examining the origins of the widespread stereotypes that have permeated society and impacted the lives of Black men in America for centuries. The series will premiere February 12 Actor Tristan “Mack” Wilds will serve as host, guiding the audience through each episode and dismantling long-standing stereotypes about Black men that have plagued the nation since its inception while exploring and debunking a different stereotype each week.
