After a long wait between seasons, Prime Video has set the season two premiere date of comedy series Upload for March 11. Season two picks up with Nathan at a crossroads in his (after) life… his ex-girlfriend Ingrid has unexpectedly arrived to Lakeview hoping to strengthen their relationship, but his heart still secretly yearns for his customer service angel Nora. Meanwhile Nora is off the grid and involved with the anti-tech rebel group “The Ludds.” The second season will consist of seven episodes. 

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver returns to HBO February 20 for its ninth season. The new season of the critically acclaimed series promises to shine a light on headline news as well as lesser-reported topics that both inform and entertain, featuring a mix of the series’ sharp commentary, pre-taped pieces and occasional special guests.

Disney+ has ordered basketball drama The Crossover to series. The series is inspired by the book by Kwame Alexander. The series follows teen brothers Josh and JB Bell, widely considered basketball phenomenon. Through his lyrical poetry, Josh narrates the story of their coming-of-age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own. 

The CW has renewed three of their alternative series for the 2022-23 season. Penn & Teller: Fool Us will return for a ninth season. Masters of Illusion will return for a ninth season. World’s Funniest Animals will return for a third season. 

Roku’s first scripted adult animated series Doomlands will premiere January 28. The series looks at the life of the infamous Danny Doom and aspiring bartender, Lhandi, as they sling beers across a hellish wasteland in their mobile pub: The Oasis. Facing ruthless desert gangs, memory-stealing creeps, and even mean bathroom graffiti, all this crew’s got to do to survive is not kill each other. The series was initially ordered at Quibi before it closed and properties were sold to Roku where those originals now air. 

CBS’s Good Sam will see a One Tree Hill reunion. Hilarie Burton and Bethany Joy Lenz are set to guest star in an upcoming episode of the series starring Sophia Bush. Burton and Lenz will play sisters, Gretchen and Amy Taylor, respectively, who cross paths with Dr. Sam Griffith, played by Bush, when Amy is admitted as a patient at Detroit’s Lakeshore Sentinel Hospital.

ABC has canceled Pooch Perfect after one season. The dog grooming competition series was hosted by Rebel Wilson. There are also no plans for additional episodes of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire at this time. 

Netflix has ordered an Iron Chef reboot series. The eight episode first season of Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend will see five new trailblazing Iron Chefs welcome brave Challenger Chefs to the reimagined Kitchen Stadium, where they’ll face off and be pushed to the limits of endurance and creativity, as they cook up extraordinary culinary creations. The competition’s most successful Challenger will return to battle in a grand finale for the chance to be named the first-ever ‘Iron Legend.’

NBC has canceled Small Fortune after one season. The series was hosted by Lil Rel Howery. The game show featured teams competing for cash on miniature playing fields

Gina Rodriguez is set to star in Apple TV+’s Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. The series is based on the film of the same name and will feature both English and Spanish. 

Discovery+ has launched a “Black Voices” hub with programming spotlighting the African American community. The hub will live on the platform year-round with curated series, documentaries, and specials that will take viewers on an educational, entertaining and exploratory journey through stories of empowerment and entrepreneurship, love and relationships, real estate and design, history and investigation, food and lifestyle, and more. 

IMDb TV’s Judy Justice returns January 24 with all new weekday episodes. Prime Video will also launch a new channel dedicated to the series. 

Joshua Jackson has joined the cast of Paramount+’s upcoming Fatal Attraction series. Jackson will star as Dan Gallagher, the object of his lover’s obsession after a brief affair. A deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ’80s cultural touchstone, the new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes towards strong women, personality disorders and coercive control. 

Nat Geo has canceled competition series Race To The Center of the Earth after one season. The series saw four teams of adventurers embark on a quest to sprint around the world on a challenging course in the hopes of beating the others to a buoy in the middle of the ocean on which is stashed a $1 million prize.

Jelani Alladin has joined the cast of Disney+’s untitled Beauty and the Beast eight episode prequel series. Previously announced cast members include Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Briana Middleton and Fra Fee

Super Bowl Greatest Commercials: All-Time Classics airs on CBS February 8. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite, all-time classic Super Bowl commercial ever. The special will be hosted by Boomer Esiason and Daniela Ruah from SoFi Stadium, site of Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. The top 10 countdown will include some of the most memorable Super Bowl commercials from Budweiser, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Pepsi and Doritos. The special will also go behind the scenes of one of the biggest commercials of this year’s Super Bowl from a global automotive brand, with exclusive interviews with the A-list stars of the ad.

Karrueche Tran, Duane Martin, April Parker Jones, SteVonté Hart, Joe Holt, Scottie Thompson, Jon Beavers, Tyler Barnhardt and Charlie Hall have all been cast in recurring roles on Peacock’s upcoming new series Bel-Air. The series imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. It premieres February 13. 

Let’s Make a Deal Primetime airs January 26 and will feature the biggest prizes in the show’s history with over three quarters of a million dollars in cash and prizes up for grabs Wayne Brady hosts the CBS series.

The fifth and final season of HBO Max’s Gomorrah premieres January 27. The clash between the Levantes and Patrizia left Naples in a pile of bricks forcing Genny to give up his dream of normality and return to action. But with the police hot on Genny’s heels, he is forced into a bunker alone without Azzurra and Little Pietro. Now, his only ally is ‘O Maestrale, the mysterious crime boss of Ponticelli, an eastern district of Naples. War is imminent, and his enemies are fierce, but Genny is about to make a sensational discovery: Ciro Di Marzio is alive in Latvia. And for Genny, nothing will ever be the same again. 

Masterpiece PBS’s Sandition returns for season two March 20. The new season picks up nine months after the first season and will consist of six episodes. 

Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg will be back as hosts of Puppy Bowl XVIII premiering February 13. Snoop will serves as the official coach for Team Fluff and Martha will coach last year’s champions, Team Ruff. The three hour event will air on Animal Planet and discovery+. 

Apple TV+ is developing a live action Godzilla and the Titans series. The series explores one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch. It will be a part of Legendary’s Monsterverse, tying into the films and greater universe. 

Discovery+’s upcoming special Radford Returns will premiere January 22. The two-hour special follows the rebirth of the iconic British car company at the hands of a team of car enthusiasts, each tasked with recreating their own version of Lotus’ Type 62, a high-performing sports vehicle. However, the road to the racetrack doesn’t come without its speed bumps! 

Robert Costa has joined CBS News as chief election and campaign correspondent. He will make his debut February 13. 

Starting today, Peacock will have 24/7 local news channels from NBC owned television stations. All users have 24/7 free access to the award-winning coverage from NBC 5 Chicago (WMAQ), NBC 10 Philadelphia (WCAU), NBC10 Boston (WBTS) and New England Cable Network (NECN), and NBC 6 Miami (WTVJ). News channels from NBC 4 New York (WNBC) and NBC 4 Los Angeles (KNBC) will be available to stream for free in the months ahead. 

HGTV has ordered Steal This House set to premiere later this year. The series stars Cristy Lee who will prove to clients that it’s worth the risk to buy low and spend high, but it must be done while staying within budget. 

Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is joining NBC’s coverage of the 2022 Winter Olympic games as a primetime correspondent. The games will take place in Beijing and coverage will begin on NBC and Peacock February 3. 

Discovery+ has two UFO themed specials coming February 18. Alien Abduction: Betty and Barney Hill and Alien Abduction: Travis Walton. The specials look back at two of the most well-documented alleged UFO abduction cases in history, recounted by the eyewitnesses and victims themselves, and supported by exclusive audio and hypnosis tapes, of the most fascinating and frightening close encounters ever reported.

FYI and The HISTORY Channel today announced the broadcast schedule for its live coverage of Barrett-Jackson’s 2022 Scottsdale Auction. Barrett-Jackson LIVE: Scottsdale celebrates 50 years of the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, with 38 hours of live coverage, premiering January 24 on FYI and culminating January 29 with six hours of evening coverage on The HISTORY Channel. The coverage of this year’s No Reserve auction will see over 1,800 vehicles cross the auction block.

Fistful of Vengence is a Wu Assassins standalone action film set to release on Netflix February 17. A revenge mission becomes a fight to save the world from an ancient threat when superpowered assassin Kai tracks a killer to Bangkok.

Prime Video’s Phat Tuesdays: The Era of Hip Hop Comedy premieres February 3. The three episode docuseries celebrates the untold story of Black comedians at The Comedy Store in ’90s Los Angeles, from Phat Tuesdays creator Guy Torry and director Reginald Hudlin.

Spectrum’s psychological thriller series Angela Black premieres February 7. The six episode series will release all episodes on that date. Angela Black’s life in London may seem like a dream, but in reality, she’s living in a nightmare and her attempt to escape unfolds. The series stars Joanne Froggatt, Michiel Huisman and Samuel Adewunmi.
