The CW has canceled Batwoman after three seasons consisting of 51 episodes. Caroline Dries, the showrunner for the series, announced the news. The network also has cancled Legends of Tomorrow after seven seasons. The news comes as The CW is currently up for sale, leaving more series than usual on the bubble. Series still awaiting news at the network include Dynasty, Charmed, Naomi, 4400, Legacies and All American: Homecoming among others.
Apple TV+ has renewed Pachinko for a second season. The series is based on the book of the same name. The series chronicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an indomitable quest to survive and thrive. Starting in South Korea in the early 1900s, the story is told through the eyes of a remarkable matriarch, Sunja, who triumphs against all odds. It tells an unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning. The new season will continue the riveting story that spans generations and is told across three languages – Korean, Japanese, and English. The first season finale airs April 29.
Netflix has canceled Space Force after two seasons. The series from Greg Daniels starred Steve Carell. The space comedy also starred John Malkovich and Ben Schwartz.
James Corden is leaving The Late Late Show in 2023. He will have hosted the show for eight and a half years by the time he departs in summer 2023.
Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area will premiere June 24 on Netflix. The series is a remake of the Netflix series La Casa de Papel. The six episode series is set in a fictional Joint Economic Area, in a world where the Korean Peninsula faces reunification. The heist team in the Spanish series wore masks depicting the face of artist Salvador Dalí, and this series will feature a traditional Korean Hahoe mask.

Netflix’s The Marked Heart has been renewed for a second season just over a week after premiering on the streamer. Also known as Pálpito, the series follows a man hell-bent on exacting revenge on the organ trafficking organization that murdered his wife. He becomes involved with the woman who received her heart. The story of Camila Duarte, Zacarías Cienfuegos and Simón Duque will continue to make viewers’ hearts beat faster.
Limited series The Best Man: The Final Chapters has announce recurring cast members. Nicole Ari Parker, Ron Canada, Brandon Victor Dixon, Michael Genet, Yvonna Pearson, Aaron Serotsky, Terrence Terrell, Tobias Truvillion and Eric Scott Ways will each appear as recurring guest stars. The Peacock series stars Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau reprising their roles from the movie franchise.
New comedy series Mo will premiere August 24 on Netflix. Mo Najjar straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a ton of bullshit as a Palestinian refugee constantly living one step away from asylum on the path to U.S. citizenship. His family – including his resilient and spiritual mother, sister and older brother – flee to Houston, Texas. Laughing the pain away, Mo learns to adapt to his new world though getting ahead in life comes with several setbacks.
Devery Jacobs has been cast in Disney+’s upcoming Marvel series Echo. Echo was introduced in Hawkeye and is a deaf Native American enhanced human.
Hulu has ordered We Were The Lucky Ones. The series is based on the book by Georgia Hunter. Joey King is set to star in the adaptation. The eight episode series follows a Jewish family who attempt to reunite in the time of World War II.
Reality competition series The Traitors will air on Peacock. The ten episode series is based on a Dutch series with the same name. Set in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands, 5-time Emmy nominated Alan Cumming plays host to Reality TV icons and America’s best game players competing in a game chock-full of alliances, deception and even “murder” for a chance to win up to $250,000.
Comedy special Psychosexual will premiere on Netflix June 21. Filmed at Catch One in Los Angeles, Joel Kim Booster makes his Netflix comedy special debut in a uniquely crafted three set act. Booster discusses learning the cultural nuances of being Asian as he gets older, shares his preference for threesomes with tips for successful masturbation and his fascination for human sexuality and much more.
Sara Gilbert, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Lecy Goranson have all signed new deals to continue on ABC’s comedy series The Conners. The news likely means the series will be renewed for a fifth season.

Apple TV+ has renewed Slow Horses for a second season. Joining the new season are Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Kadiff Kirwan. The second season will adapt the second book in the Slow Horses series by Mick Herron.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar has been cast in NBC’s pilot Found. The potential missing persons drama series also stars Shanola Hampton.
Bruce Greenwood will be replacing Frank Langella in the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher. Langella was fired from the series due to unacceptable conduct on set.

Christian Slater and Josh Radnor have joined the cast of Fleishman Is In Trouble. Slater and Radnor will recur in the FX limited series. The series is based on the book by Taffy Brodesser-Akner and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Claire Danes and Adam Brody.
Netflix will not move forward with animated kids series Dino Daycare and Boons and Curses. Dino Daycare came from Ada Twist, Scientist executive producer Chris Nee. Boons and Curses was to feature an Asian American characters and cast.
A new season of Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine premieres on Discovery Channel May 20. The mining season has begun, and Team Turin still has no ground to mine. With the clock ticking, Dave and team assemble in Idaho to prospect two claims in that state. Dave and geologist Aryn Rowe travel to the remote Warren Meadows mining claim while the rest of the team drives the new mobile wash plant “The Beetle” to a claim at Mores Creek in the Boise Basin. After more disappointments, Team Turin rallies and decides to gamble on the unknown as they head to Big Sky Country, the state of Montana.

The network has also ordered Hey A.J. inspired by Martellus Bennett’s family, Kindergarten: The Musical, a musical series about navigating kindergarten with music by Kay Hanley, Michelle Lewis, Dan Petty and Charlton Pettus, RoboGobo, about a team of robot rescue pets, and SuperKitties. Two new short series were also announced. Me & Mickey vlog shorts and Winnie the Pooh shorts. John Stamos will voice Iron Man in Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends. Lou Diamond Phillips and Yvette Nicole Brown have joined the cast of Firebuds. Justina Machado, Bobby Moynihan, Eric Bauza and Kari Wahlgren have joined the cast of Pupstruction. Eureka! will premiere June 22. Season two of Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends will premiere in August. Special Mickey Mouse Funhouse: Pirate Adventure will also premiere in August.
