Anna Cathcart will reprise her role from the film series along with Choi Min-yeong, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald and Regan Aliyah. Also announced as recurring are Yunjin Kim, Michael K. Lee and Jocelyn Shelfo.Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line. Production on the series has begun in South Korea.
FX has renewed drama series Snowfall for a sixth and final season. The series tackles the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it. In the fifth season of Snowfall, it’s the summer of 1986, and Franklin Saint and his entire family are rich beyond their wildest dreams, on the verge of having everything they’ve ever wanted… right as the ground begins to fall out from under their feet.
Season two of Apple TV+’s Physical will premiere June 3. The ten episode dark comedy series finds Sheila Rubin having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. HBO Max is creating a Sherlock Holmes universe which will consist of TV and film offshoots. The series would spin off from the upcoming third movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. The film has been delayed due to the pandemic.
Kristen Hager has exited NBC’s Chicago Med less than a season since she joined the series. Her last appearance was in March in episode 14. The door is still open for her character to return at some point down the line.
Freeform has announced three new series coming this summer. Four episode docuseries The Deep End premieres May 18. The series is an arresting and provocative exploration inside the world of one of today’s most controversial spiritual teachers and her dedicated followers. Filmed over three years with unprecedented access, it is an unflinching portrayal of the incredible lengths people will go to in their search for connection. Dear Pony: Keep This Between Us premieres June 15. The four episode docuseries follows one woman’s journey as she reexamines her past relationship with a trusted teacher. The series exposes an epidemic of widespread grooming in U.S. high schools. Day to Night will air later this summer. The series follows the next generation of icons as they emerge from downtown New York to pursue love, art and friendship on their own terms.
ABC’s Not Dead Yet pilot has added more to its cast. Josh Banday, Jessica St. Clair, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Angela Gibbs and Rick Glassman will all play series regulars. They join previously announced Gina Rodriguez.
Tahj Mowry has joined the cast of Disney+’s The Muppets Mayhem. He joins Lilly Singh who was previously announced. The series will see The Electric Mayhem Band recording an album
Rachael Ray’s Italian Dream Home will premiere on FYI April 11. Rachael Ray and her husband John begin their historic Tuscan home renovation project, a journey years in the making. The restoration is fraught with challenges as Ray attempts to transform a several hundred-year-old stable with no plumbing or electricity into the villa of her dreams. A small clip version of the series previously aired on Facebook Watch while this version will feature never-before-seen extended episodes.
Christine Ko will recur on the upcoming fifth season of hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale. She will play a refugee who leads a resistance movement.
Abhi Sinha has joined NBC’s Blank Slate pilot. Sinha joins previously cast Dave Annable, Matt Passmore and Floriana Lima.
PBS has renewed Donkey Hodie for a second season. The kids puppet series is inspired by characters from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The 25 episode series will premiere in 2023 and also feature two special.
Ana Ayora is set to recur on Apple TV+’s third season of anthology series Truth Be Told. She joins Octavia Spencer, Gabrielle Union, and Ricardo Chavira.
